October 12, 200619 yr Just read over at Flightsim.com that Ed Knapp has passed. Bob Hayes reported that Ed passed early Tuesday morning (10-10-06) after another heart attack while he slept. Ed was a great contributor to our hobby and I for one have enjoyed his work over the years. Many of you may know him best for the repaints he's produced for Eaglesoft. Ed may be gone but surely not forgotten...http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/158417.jpg FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR

October 12, 200619 yr Avsim can you put this in the Hanger Chat forum please? Judging by how quick this thread got buried, FSX seems to supersede importance right now instead of the lose of one of this community FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
October 12, 200619 yr Ed did great work and was a very nice guy. He and I had many emails on repaints of various things. He was a talented guy who had health problems for a number of years.I am very saddened by this news. Eric AND

October 12, 200619 yr Ed was not only a devoted team mate who was responsible for a majority of our livery work but also a dear friend. We both started repainting together a few years back and Ed was a "natural born talent".Our deepest condolances to his family and friends.
October 12, 200619 yr Very sad news indeed, my prayers are with his family! It hurts when someone you "come to know" thru the forums/email/web on a daily basis is taken from you, but especially more so when you realise how hurt their family and close friends must feel.God bless you Ed!Regards, MichaelKDFW Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe nForce4 SLI-x16 / AMD Best, Michael KDFW
