Just see the evolution of the screenshots quality. I don't say the guys at Asobo can't make choices by themselves but almost all the things which have been pointed out by the community have been fixed/implemented. So this could be an example for everyone, and the community shouldn't under any circumstances stop making observations or wishes. We are where we are now thanks to the entire community. I woudn't entirely trust community feedback on everything. People are not to be trusted and have no clue about the developing side of things. While having a structure to take consideration of feedback, i think they need to continue on their own agenda too for the most part if they actually want to deliver. But sure, Asobo is doing well. All we miss now is a community representative from them on Avsim so we can spam him to death with questions, questions and questions Chock 1.1: "The only thing that whines louder than a jet engine is a flight simmer."
April 13, 20206 yr Slightly off-topic, (and I apologize for this!) but... ... I just completed "Ori & The Blind Forest" (amazing game, btw) and I can see, that 5 members from Asobo Studios, are accredited on the development team. As far as I know, "Ori & The Blind Forest" is developed by Moon Studios and published by Microsoft. I know, that I'm probably missing out on something obvious, but I was quite surprised to learn, that Asobo apparently was involved in that game? Is this 'just' coincidence or is there some sort of affiliation between Asobo and Microsoft? Or is Moon Studios a part of Asobo? I know I'm speculating, but I'm just trying to understand the connection... 🙂 Again, I apologize for the off-topic. You can take a look here and see everything they have worked on.

Another take, I read long ago, last summer I think, that an Austrian company was involved in FS20 with ASobo. That should be the one ! Interesting to see a RPG indie game house in here, to design missions 😁 ? April 13, 20206 yr FS20 is an Android game, Farm Simulator 2020, I was unaware that ASOBO was involved there. Robin "Onward & Upward" ... To the Stars, & Beyond...
April 13, 20206 yr Hmmm....I have an idea. I'm thinking about creating a new application named DHFS20. Yeah, you fly around beating dead horses. What do you think? ...I think social distancing may be starting to get to me. 😄 Chris
April 13, 20206 yr I realize that people want to add "2020" to the name to differentiate Microsoft Flight Simulator from previous versions but it occurred to me today that there never has actually been a "Microsoft Flight Simulator". The name has always carried a version number or year or something as a suffix. "Microsoft Flight Simulator" really is a brand new, first time the name was ever used, product. I could be wrong but I really think its true. | Dave | I've been around for most of my life. There's always a sunset happening somewhere in the world that somebody is enjoying.
April 13, 20206 yr You are quite correct! First time that Name has been used, BUT Avsimmers are confused by thinking it has, & that simmers confuse MSFS with FSX & FS9/FS2004. To raise donation funds, maybe all that use FS2020 or other config thereoff, should donate to AVSIM's 2020 Fundraising Goal, that has been not supported all that well! WE NEED FUNDS & this could be a good way of fundraising! For example: 13 March Avsim was on 7% of the requested $25 000.00 That's a total of $1 705.00 donated so far. Whereas Sim-Outhouse had reached 82% of it's requested $10 000.00! with a total of $8 210.00 donated. 12 April AVSIM: 11% of target - $2,650.00 received donations, $945.00 donated in a month SOH: 101% of target - $10,030.00 received donations, $1790.00 donated in a month!! Avsim is reputably (by it's members) regarded as THE virtual aviation site to go to.. Very interesting that a site that is less than half the size of AVSIM, has almost doubled the recieved donations. So, Avsimmers, do the right thing.. Support your site Robin "Onward & Upward" ... To the Stars, & Beyond...

April 13, 20206 yr Don't shoot the messenger. I support Avsim in other ways. Robin "Onward & Upward" ... To the Stars, & Beyond...

April 14, 20206 yr Asobo and DTG were GAME studio`s before MS approached them and got them involved in flight sim, and Asobo are still working on game console games for the future I think you will find. Raymond Fry.
