April 10, 20206 yr Stunning shots that make my day. Truly incredible weather dynamics and scenery. In the last gif with approaching weather, it looks like the water (sea?) is reacting to it as well. Overall, I just cannot believe something this amazing is happening to us flightsimmers now. A few notes: - Look at the water effects in the river in the DampfGepard9514 shot (India). At the bank on the left, there are some weird bending effects of the water visible that look unrealistic and have noted these before. - Rain in the sim is amazing, but I have not seen light consistent rain yet; so far only patches of heavy rain with zero visibility when going through it. - Snow looks great, wonder whether there are different intensities of snowfall - Like to see more color in springflowers.

April 10, 20206 yr Author According to Reddit, the majority of those being invited signed up for the Alpha around the September-November 2019 timeframe. However, all of them have 32GB RAM. If you meet these criteria, chances to receive an invite should be high.

April 10, 20206 yr Some fascinating imagery this week. I'm struggling to convince myself to believe that what I am seeing is real. Or not real. Well, you get my meaning. Nice, very nice indeed. 5800X3D - Strix X570-E - 32GB 3600Mhz DDR4 - AMD RX 9070 XT- Samsung 980 Pro x2

The extra options probably disappeared because there is no recruitment process going on right now (only then is it possible to change your DxDiag file it seems). 20 minutes ago, Baber20 said: Exactly how I predicted last week. 32gb is still a requirement. Sadly seems like so. For those with less than 32GB RAM, probably not much reason to hope for an invite until we get patch notes that indicate some optimisation has taken place. Likely not until beta phase.

April 10, 20206 yr Who does the invite come from? Just want to make sure to check my spam with wishful hoping I get the invite during this quarantine time we are living through. Anthony Neumann

Great to see lit up floors in office towers in the Citylights.png screenshot, however, I find the patterns there could be a bit more random, it looks a bit too 'clustered' at this stage. Mission accomplished. People are discussing lighting on skyscrapers in the alpha. Furthermore Alpha is for testers not amusers just in case.. It’s not about wining. It’s about telling people not get their expectations to high. Because 16 GB users like me who signed first days, are in step 2. So I prefer not to be waiting for an invitation during a week if the instructions says that they are not prioritizing us yet. If I’m invited this time, much better, but looks like 32GB gang by now.
April 10, 20206 yr There still should be a way to update your dxdiag when you upgrade even though there is no new recruitments. So those who perhaps upgraded ram or gpu but doesnt reflect on filed dxdiag, get missed out. Seems that should be looked at. Microsoft if your listening, please allow updated dxdiag for current registered insiders. CYVR LSZH I7-14700k 64gb 6000Mhz DDR5 ASUS z690 ROG STRIX Gaming RTX 4080 Super,

Microsoft if your listening, please allow updated dxdiag for current registered insiders. They did have the option open a while back to update your dxdiag file, i registered the first day when registrations opened up and after that i did eventually upgrade most my system parts. I uploaded my updated dxdiag file when they had that opportunity to upload updated ones... i just hope that doesn't mean the system sees you as registering then! Because that would be a big date difference and wont get us in the pool of early registered candidates!
