MSFS 2020 is what motivated me to build a new computer! I'm so excited for this, the screenshots look amazing and better than reality!

Thank you for your thoughts, but my system does not meet the minimum requirements so my chances are slim to none. I hope each one of you make it in so that the simulator is the best it can be at release, and in the meantime, thank you to everyone making interesting and peaceful discussions in here. It does make the wait a lot easier.

This has held true for quite some time now, but as SamYeager said, expect a lot more discussion with next week's episode. This update was light in comparison to most others.

I have to. Mine is party below minimum spec, so I have no choice. Gonna wait as long as possible though, maybe that'll help $$-wise a bit. I won't upgrade just to have a chance to go Alpha, that makes zero sense.

Just finished the analyzing part in that other thread haha 😂

Did anyone actually notice there are pilots sitting in that cockpit? 🤪

None of the above. Yes, I have seen the leaked videos and pictures, and maybe it's because ever since the release of the first screenshots and discovery series videos, we know what to expect in terms of graphics, I'm not so easy to impress anymore. And I don't think the leaked footage and screenshots, shows anything that we haven't already seen in the official MS/Asobo material, apart from a very rocky approach and landing.

I'm looking forward to next weeks ATC update, and hopefully we'll learn something about the AI and how it's integrated in the sim.

I'm going to build a new PC for MFS as well, but I'm waiting a bit closer to release until I do.  There is some new hardware coming out this summer which I want to consider, plus the new hardware might make the current components price drop too.

I guess we'll agree to disagree, everyone has different expectations.

Don't get me wrong, I'm just as excited to see the new sim as everyone else, I just think the screenshots we see doesn't show anything new that we haven't already seen. Yes, it looks gorgeous we can't argue about that, but let's see what the ATC episode brings of new things. And let's see the flightplanner in action, how advanced is it and can we import flightplans from ie. Simbrief into the different aircrafts?

That night shot looks so good. No more orange-like scenery as far as the eye can see

Thanks Asobo, looks real nice

Man this looks so good. I hope I get in this go round. Nothing yet however.

Okay, here is the weird thing. I signed up day 1 but the hub shows 0 years and 0 months....makes me nervous it doesn't show the time sense I've signed up on the MSFS sight.
Any one else having this?

What you're seeing is your Xbox Insider status (I guess you signed up and used the Insider Hub app for the first time less than a month ago?) which has nothing to do with your Fligh Simulator Insider status (that's when you signed up at flightsimulator.com back in June '19) 🙂

That’s cool, thanks. I was completely blown away how stunning the world looks around there - you pop over some mountains and suddenly there’s about 200 rivers all winding across the lowland.

Your shot is my favorite of this batch and it makes me wonder if if would be possible to tell the AI what locations you enjoy the most and it could suggest similar looking areas around the world.  theres just no time to discover all of them on your own.
