Latest update at KORD with 4K/2048 textures shadows ULTRA and now also Texture Draw Distance set to 180000 and TdrDelay=15 seconds (had this all the time btw forgot that one) and the maddogX still makes this FSDT KORD absolutely amazing again without any issues so far.

Autogen Normal but scenery complexity at max. VSYNC and tripple buffering.

My pagefile is system managed on my C Drive fastest on the PC.

I'm kind of liking this "let the system manage" thing. Since early days, seemed like majority of suggestions were to set a custom sized pagefile. which I've always done. Just thought i'd try the system deal and it seems better. I was worried about ssd use but it doesn't seem ssd use much different.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's

Hope this is more clearly what i did .

You underclocked the video card. What does that have to do with the page file? If you undo the pagefile settings, do the crashes return?

Videocard reducing helped with the DXGI ERROR CTD

Is this still on your trusty 4770K ?

Cheers

Here I have my pc’s set with fixed page file sizes, which are what the system shows as maximum.

Changing the page file size continuesly with System Managing costs cpu performance.

Never had CTD’s ...

Just to confirm, you've underclocked your 1080TI 150MHz to reduce DXGI ERROR CTDs? Were you getting CTDs with the 1080TI at its base clock setting?

Cheers,

I dont know how to use just "base clock" with my EVGA GTX1080TI FTW3 which is OC by factory up to 1950MHZ.

Now after a -150MHZ (1810MHZ peek) via NV Inspector and 77C MAX its super stable with no issues even maxed out shadows and 4096 textures at KORD now. (9GB/10.1 used)

You have certainly got your money's worth out of that little CPU. Unfortunately mine didn't win any prizes in the CPU stakes and just hits a wall at 4.4 Ghz. It will shortly be retired to general family use. I'm just waiting to see how these 10th Gen Intel CPUs perform with P3D.

My 4770K runs happily at 4.1... and gives me good service 🙂

With V5,  the GPU carries much of the load, as best I can tell, and the "little CPU" gets another life 😉

Unfortunately my GTX Titan will be going the same way.

😉 Yeah i used to run 1,25V 4,8GHZ with HT off 24/7 (PMDG NGX etc, )  (4,7GHZ 1,27V HT ON) but that has changed for me with FSLabs A320 which significantly made the CPU load more so now i am stable with 4,6 GHZ HT OFF at 1.30v and 1.315v HT ON. (temps typically around 70-85c with peeks to 90-95c) Corsair H80 liq.cooler

Wow my i78700k running at 4.6GHZ never gets passed 55°C and I have most of my sliders nearly maxed out in P3Dv5
