So why hang on to the old stuff? Deleted P3D4 and all addons from my PC. No way.... I already spent 120 on a 1TB. Maybe when I do a whole new build.... P3D is ancient tech. I use XP11 and I'll use the new sim. I've played them all but I can't handle the space requirements for all at the same time. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
August 12, 20205 yr I meant to reinstall p3d on my new rig. after 20--30 hours into the reinstall process I gave up. not worth it. I know this will not happen, but I would really really like one unified install for add ons. if MSFS becomes a patchwork quilt of 30 different installers, serials, copyright "DRM" programs, etc... I may just not buy anything unless its on the MS store, and definitely not anything to do with "couatl" or "addon manager".

I have to keep P3Dv4 and 5 installed because I'm still involved developing aircraft for them. I put them on the 3TB HD and am reserving the 2TB HD for MSFS. MSFS will be an entirely different pipeline using different SDK tools, Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
