but as I recall their MS offerings were were always about tweaking tweaking tweaking then giving up on it.

Your recollection is faulty. They released the plane, then one or two patches, and then the planes were (are) very much flyable.

I'm sure they'll knock one out when they've got ten minutes to spare.

In every thread about Carenado, you basically say the same thing. Aren't you bored yourself?

Don't buy their stuff, then. THE END

Well, first up, this is patently untrue, second, even if this were not so, you don't have to read it, third, since you are talking b*******, nope, I'm not bored. Last but not least, I'll buy what I like, and if that is Carenado stuff, which despite your erroneous and nonsensical opinion it occasionally is, then it's got nothing to do with you.

On a different subject, your valued thoughts, please, on an i7-8086k CPU on an Asus Z390 Rampage Maximus Hero XI+AIO Water Cooled+MSI GTX 1080Ti 11Gb VRAM+G.Skill RipJaws 3600MHz+Benq 32-in UHD + SATA 1Tb SSD+NVme 2Tb for the new sim, if and when I get around to it?

Dunno! 😁 Cant say anymore. Don't have the new sim yet. I'd be guessing. I'm waiting to see what my 8700K and 980 Ti will provide. Guess I'll be on high rather than Ultra. With perhaps a few other tweaks. Suspect overclocking the CPU wont be as important, as the new sim seems to be more GPU biased.

What sends ME into a quiver is native ENGLISH speakers typing "should of". I notice it all over the place these days!

Example: "She should of picked the red car"

Starting sentences with "so".

"i is" instead of it is. Not bothering to pronounce the "T" in better. "be'a".

Claiming its your OCD when you are "a bit fussy". Drives us real OCD sufferers nuts. Or at least it does me.

Mentioning Carenado is like throwing chum into the water. Boom, 5 minutes later the usual suspects do their song and dance routine.

Carenado has the  modern bizjet market locked up tighter than a gnat's word not allowed.

Why? Because other developers have failed and continue to fail to step up to the plate.

He's not wrong, though.

Default planes in MSFS are likely to be better than Carenado's offerings, unless they've seriously lifted their game. We're not talking about A2A here.

None of those things are as bad as people who forget to put the apostrophe in "it's".

I noticed both of those too. I do find a lot of people for whom English is not their first language often say aircrafts, so I just try to ignore that.

Haha... I - as a not native speaker - can confirm that. 😄 Although aircraft sounds correct to me, it always felt there's something missing as well. But hey, at least I don't say "foots". 😄

Happy with MSFS 🙂

Depends on who foots the bill. 😄

I only have one Carenado plane, the Cessna 337, and I like it.  It was my first ever payware aircraft for FSX.  And I didn't have to pay extra for the P3Dv4 version. 😄

I may be buying more for MSFS considering that A2A aircraft will be slow in coming.

I got some Carenado planes. Mainly because of the general lack of business jets in XP.

In an ideal world wouldn't it be great if developers collaborated?

Carenado are the grand masters at visual aircraft modelling. There no denying that their planes LOOK the business.

If they take care of that side and another dev with expertise in flight dynamics and avionics does the rest we'd have a winner.

Pipe dream I know 😅

Right now, the criteria for "good flight dynamics" is that they're better than the default MSFS aircraft.  Carenado may or may not be able to achieve that, let's wait and see.

They may have a big job on their hands to match default MSFS visuals.  Systems depth are no worse than default MSFS for the GA aircraft.

If we can hope for a wider variety of aircraft than MSFS offers with at least similar quality, then it's still a win.  Right now we're in a similar place to where we were in the early days when the A2A hangar was still a little empty.

I'd rather buy an A2A aircraft than a Carenado aircraft, but until I have that choice the Carenado aircraft may suffice.
