Pretty sure my video, this thread and the official forum thread of countless complaints of this same exact is enough.. I paid $120 for a simulator to fly planes, not to be a freelance debugger.. I have been flying / testing the Baron G58 , many VORs, and flight plan routes. No problems to report with the avionics. Before and after the 15GB patch 2. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
September 19, 20205 yr Just adding to the 'can confirm' list of people. Never had the issue prior to the patch, have it now, but it is somewhat random in nature; sometimes occurs, sometimes it doesn't. Don't think it is hardware related since nothing has changed on that front and it was working before with the same set up prior to the recent patch, but just for completeness, I have an ATI GPU and the controller is a Thrustmaster T Flight HOTAS. Definitely wipes out the GPS and the radio stack in the payware Carenado Mooney M20R to an unrecoverable state where a restart of the flight is the only option to fix it. Can't squawk 7600 because of course the radio stack is U/S and even though there are steam gauges in the Mooney, since you can't see the stack, you can't tune any nav aid you need. Screenshot below, failure occurred approximately 30 mins into the flight: Edited September 19, 20205 yr by Chock Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
September 19, 20205 yr Are you seeing the problem in the default aircraft? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW

I will give it a test. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
September 19, 20205 yr Not sure if its relevant but I had a similar issue in P3D. Randomly during flight the engine would cut out. I was using a third-party program to inject AI aircraft into the sim including some Carenado aircraft which were in my hangar. It seems (after much googling) that the AI Carenado aircraft were probably taking anti piracy measures and setting the mixture to zero causing the cut out failures. Removing them from the AI list solved my problems. (just to clarify, the Carenado aircraft in my hangar were all legitimate purchases) I know my issue was related to the engine (mixture being set to zero), and the current issue is with the avionics, so as I said, may be completely irrelevant. Also I dont know if everyone with this problem have Carenado aircraft in their hangar, or even if MSFS2020 uses the hangar to populate the AI ? I dont have any Carenado aircraft in my hangar, and I also haven`t had any avionics failures, yet !! Robin Edited September 19, 20205 yr by wellington
September 19, 20205 yr I've read somewhere that it's been happening since initial release. I've been lucky. I haven't experienced this bug. Keep in mind, it's been a month since initial release. My advice is to stay calm, don't give up, and wait for the updates to come. This sim lasted an hour on my SSD after initial release. After 2 SPs, I can say it's now enjoyable. I also keep a fully loaded P3D v4.5 while MSFS matures. MSFS

After SP1 re-installed and spend most of my time with the c172. Here are some pics: https://orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/199770-1s2-kors-i/ Then ventured into 787. Here are some pics: I also flew the a320 NEO and that flight also went smoothly. This bug could be system related. Jose Edited September 19, 20205 yr by DJJose MSFS

September 19, 20205 yr To me this is the perfect illustration as to why the endless "CAN I RUN THIS ON MY RIG???" threads are so pointless. I flew a 2-hour flight in the G1000 172 yesterday, no problems whatsoever.
September 19, 20205 yr Administrators Gee, looking like another topic getting ready for the scrap heap! If it was only one person complaining about this problem, then it might be a legitimate problem on his/her end. That doesn't seem to be the case. Now, keep the discussion ON TOPIC without name calling or arguing or this will be shut down! 😠 Charlie AronAVSIM Board of Directors-ADMIN/Moderator-RegistrarJust going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. I've never seen a `game' continue to get more broken as the devs try to fix the release problems. Even to a casual this game is unplayable. Seriously. Whoever is in charge of QA should be fired.. Stevie Wonder would have noticed these problems. You didn't get my point. I reinstalled MSFS prior patch #2, and after installing patch #2 don't have any problems . September 19, 20205 yr Had the same issue with the DA62 after installing the patch, cold and dark, click battery master and the only the main panel started up. Couldn't start the engines. Went into dev mode and reloaded the plane and everything worked. Exited out of the sim and went back in same issue. Next day worked fine cold and dark. Only thing I can think of that I changed that is possibly related to the panels was the new refresh rate from medium to high and that was it. Interesting issue, hopefully they find the cause. Welcome to bug hunting, as a dev myself it can be very frustrating.
