I got a video on you tube on how to use the VNAV on the Airbus A320 Neo. It kind of works but not realy good.. I've taken 6 flights Low IFR routes and crashed 3 times and almost crashed the other 3 times, but manually took it and landed ..kind of.

I hope they fix it. For a default aircraft the fact that there is a VNAV itself is good... I  have been purchasing almost all the addon scenries like crazy... so I could wean myself off of P3D and go onto MSFS2020 full time..and could afford to wait for the PMDG to release their aicraft if only I have one of the airliners with a reasonable VNAV working.

The patch will release on paper the same time nVidia releases the RTX 3090 <- this is just a joke as both releases are on the same date.

And this matters because?

Denwagg, not sure what your complaint is here, sids and stars being very close together happens in the real world.. so just fly it like a real world flight. There is something called direct, or VFR perhaps.

You do realize you can manually edit the route in the planner right? The ATC will always accept your route.

There is no issue to fix here, other than perhaps user error.

When I select a waypoint on a star to go to direct it turns my plane around and flys to the previous waypoint. This is a know bug. Please tell me how to get around this.

I hope they'll optimize even more on the performance to make it smoother?

We can use what is currently available in the meantime for performance at reasonable settings.  What really needs attention is content.  Avionics (comprehensive) and true-to-the-world IFR/AP navigation. Complete nav data set. Weather fix. Cure of strange random aircraft behavior. Missing scenery and airports.  Ability to reposition an aircraft at an airport without backing out to the main menu (have you found yourself starting between two rows of T hangars with a fence blocking at one end and a parked aircraft in the other direction?)

I have more than acceptable performance with my rig at high settings, and some ultra.  What I need is to fly realistically.  Startled that I am back flying my fantasy schedule in previous 15+ year old based simulators.

What are you talking about? Asobo's whole route planning system is useless and not functional. You can upload a valid flight plan to fs2020 and you'll rarely have it match the original. Direct? Are you kidding?

Yeap, i agree with you. But it will take several months before having an excellent result!

it may require a change in perspective and a change in understanding of aviation.

You mean aviation is more than just a way to make a cool tech demo with Bing data?  I never had any clue....

I don't know what more they can do. My CPU is sleeping most of the time while my GPU is having a heart attack. Unless they can offload more things to the CPU i need a new graphics card.

Do you mean we'll see a patch in the next 10 days, or you'll take a wild guess in the next 10 days?
