Favorite Addon Aircraft.

Featured Replies

Post your favorite addon aircraft here. I will start.

Alalebeo Cessna 421C Golden Eagle. I particularly love piston twins in general. Also like the Friendly Panels Aspen upgraded Baron 58. For the price it's a very good addon.

Baytower RV7A

Also like the C421... 😉

Ah, that's hard one, I might fly the most on 737NGXu, but that's more because my job, and I really don't like the "modern aircraft without EICAS and SD etc.... FSL320 is good, but I kinda don't like FSL's philosophy of (unnecessary) lock version and drop win7 support etc...

757 is my favorite airliner, but the qulity of CS's add-on... meh....same with E190 and A340 then...

At the end, I might call the PT Tu154M on FS9 then....

Current favorite is the Carenado B58 Baron with Ron Attwood's N8UR paint and HawkDSL turbo mods. Looks great and flies great.

Followed closely by the RealAir Duke.

And since I am "mentally" prepping for an Around the World flight, I have been flying the CarenadoTBM a lot. Fast, spacious, and repairable in the real world - everyone knows what a PT6A is!

Any aircraft from A2A.

Lionheart's Quest Kodiak hands down!  Just about the only aircraft I fly regularly.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

A2A spitfire. Followed by any other A2A. If they were incorporated in MSFS then you have flight sim perfection.

FS Labs Concorde. Not just insanely fast but beautiful too.

See Mum, I told you one day I'd be famous. 😛

So many good aircraft. It's not possible to have an outright favourite.

Among mine would be Orbx Lancair IV-P, Baytower's RV7 and pick any A2A (EDIT: Only those with one engine)

I'll probably have more later.

Heya Ron,

What version of P3D are you running the Orbx Lancair IVP on? I really enjoyed that aircraft under FSX and P3D V3, but never thought to load it up on a 64-bit sim.

P3Dv5 I think you just need the 64bit sound dll

My absolute favourite is the FSLabs A319, A320, and A321. A close second would be the PMDG 737 NGXu series.

That list makes my blood run cold.

Don't get me wrong, I understand the attraction...but, (Jeff help me out here.)
