Right now at that pricing I'd buy any I frequent in heartbeat - just to get well marked and proper taxiway markings.  Taxiing after landing rollout on 08 yesterday at MFS default Burbank I could not identify the turnoffs (right side of runway) from the cockpit, and I stubbornly stick to that.  It's all tarmac.  See Google Earth image below.

ORBX has a good KBUR - considering that I live in the flightpath of RWY 15 - it's my home base and they've done a nice job.

Apparantly it has a bug giving it awful performance even for 3080 owners. Looking at all the complaints on the Orbx forums saved me buying it.

When do affordable 20 TB SSD drives come out?

There are so many great looking airports out already that I really want, but I am hesitant to buy any scenery until there is a least one quality airliner released. Hopefully that will come soon.

i bouhgt it and and clicked on dowload ksan and it keeps dowloading contrail and when i go to contrail it ggives me a link tio buy ksan what the heck

 

I hate ach of these vendors have non standard purchase thingi I can't ever remember! Sheesh! I have had it with LVFR

Something strange happens to me. Each time I select KSAN for departure my Data setting corresponding to Use Bing Data for Scenery (or something similar) is turned OFF (normally is ON). It happened to me twice today.

I'm getting this too Ed - strange - since the patch I get a "Your Bandwidth Is Too Low, Switching to Offline Mode" warning (Even though my Internet has 240 Mbps speed), followed by "Use Bing Data For Scenery" switched to off even though I didn't switch it to off, indeed switched it "on" just last night after this incident.

 

P.S. will be buying this scenery for KSAN!

I'm reporting the issue to LatinVFR to see if it's something related to them. I'm not getting the message about low bandwith, so maybe it's something related to the scenery itself.

Hi Manny,

After you download Contrail, you log into your LatinVFR account and the airport will appear as a download.

Flight beam uses the same Contrail (29 Palms Download utility) to install FB airports. The same procedure applies.

Hmmm....just bought my LatinVFR KSAN but encountered my similar issue at very default KSBM Sheboygan area prior to any install of KSAN, so perhaps two different bugs with that same setting.

I tried searching the forums for others with the bandwidth/bing data switched off for some reason bug but couldn't find them.

That said, I did just buy and install LatinVFR KSAN now - I was going to buy direct from the Contrail app then remembered I'd bought it ages ago for P3D/FSX through simmarket.com, went there and purchased at a nice discount - they give you an activation code you then use in the Contrail app and install - easy! (that's probably on earlier posts on this thread but I might have missed it - if like me, don't miss your discount!)
