October 9, 20205 yr I know Aerosoft are very happy with the communication with MS/Asobo, and PMDG has also said something along those lines. However, they are the only companies I know have spoken out about how positive their relationship with MS/Asobo is. The other 3PD I have heard from say the oposite, that they have tried getting in contact with Asobo but have the use normal channels, and they are just in the dark about stuff as we, the normal customers, are. Example of this is Navigraph, and also the NX mod team for A320. Which other 3pd do you know have direct access to Asobo and Microsoft? October 9, 20205 yr ORBX, they also contributed some contents. https://orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/198480-microsoft-flight-simulator-post-release/ (and some more ORBX forum posts which I am too lazy to find). Gaya seems to be happy as well https://orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/199084-gaya-simulations-vienna-airport-for-microsoft-flight-simulator/ they even provided 3 airports for the Japan package. Kind regards, Michael Intel i7-13700K / AsRock Z790 / Crucial 32 GB DDR 5 / ASUS RTX 4080OC 16GB / BeQuiet ATX 1000W / WD m.2 NVMe 2TB (System) / WD m.2 NVMe 4 TB (MSFS) / WD HDD 10 TB / XTOP+Saitek hardware panel / LG 34UM95 3440 x 1440 / HP Reverb 1 (2160x2160 per eye) / Win 11
October 9, 20205 yr Orbx are helping them edit airports from what I have heard a few times, but they aren’t being chatty about it. JV isn’t there full time any more, and he was the one who would supply the commentary ordinarily. Not surprised about Navigraph, as they have an official other data provider. And fbw is a mod team.
October 9, 20205 yr Carenado obviously. They are one of the first companies to work together with ASOBO. Happy with MSFS 🙂 home simming evolved
October 9, 20205 yr I believe the main unhappy studios are either modders or do not have an agreement in place with AS/MS and are just using the supplied SDK with the retail game. Currently circumnavigating the world in a mix of Cessna and Piper aircraft. My Default Setup; MSFS, Honeycomb Alpha, Thrustmaster Hotas X, TrackIR, Samsung Galaxy Tab, JustFlight Piper Arrow. Simworks Quest Kodiak 100. Wishlist; Honeycomb Bravo, Honeycomb Charlie. 1:400 Airline Model Collector.

Airbus does not want the mod to become too realistic or no one will want to fly the actual aircraft anymore. 😜 Happy with MSFS 🙂 home simming evolved
October 9, 20205 yr It seems to be mainly the big players who are quite happy, but I just stumbled over a smaller one, too. It's Godzone Virtual Flight (effectively a 1-man-show) http://nzff.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=29778&sid=dbcd9671c7d844790a04dae947f2dad4 who is certainly not a preferred Asobo/MS contractor but seems to enjoy the new possibilities the SDK offers. Yes, my examples are mainly centered around scenery and the scenery SDK obviously is more advanced than the aircraft one. October 9, 20205 yr PLEASE MS/ASOBO: FSCaptain--this is one product that really helps me stay engage in this hobby. Fortunately, it has trained me well enough to where I still work on adhering to its target behaviors w/o using it in MSFS. Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. Aircraft used in MSFS 2024: Fenix A320, Aerosoft CRJ, FBW, WT 787X, I-Fly 737 MAX 8, Citation Longitude.
October 9, 20205 yr Umberto at fsdt seems to be pretty amped about it, and has said so quite a few times on this forum.

Airbus does not want the mod to become too realistic or no one will want to fly the actual aircraft anymore. 😜 I have to respectfully disagree with you...because in the last 17 years or so of simming, trying to convince my spouse that we're flying to Tahiti, I have yet to provide enough evidence to them after a flightsim flight that convinced them we were actually there. 😞 Even wearing a straw hat, shorts and a flowery shirt...and making her a cocktail with a tiny umbrella were not enough for her to sign off on the flight. Sigh....I guess I'll have to take a real Airbus there one day...all those hours in a pressurized tube, together! I tried to tell her the flightsim way was soooo much better....she could sit in any seat in the plane, not have to squeeze by 3 sleeping people to go to the restroom.....sadly...still couldn't get a signoff 😞 Edited October 9, 20205 yr by Steve Dra Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here

Your post implies that somehow that certain developers have a top secret SDK and everyone else is stuck with some dumbed down version. I do know that some people that post on fsdeveloper.com are in communication with the Asobo team on a regular basis and and have received patches to the present SDK which is still at version 0.6. If you have proof of something otherwise, please post it here. Edited October 9, 20205 yr by jabloomf1230

I mentioned the SDK supplied with the retail game to point out they may have just have simply bought access to the sim and started developing without first going through the third part sign up process. October 10, 20205 yr PMDG, A2A, and Milvizs are not on board yet. Make all the scenery and no real airplane to fly. Edited October 10, 20205 yr by jbdbow1970
October 10, 20205 yr I don’t think that the situation is hopeless with regard to aircraft in MSFS. Dino Cattaneo just announced the beta test for his first aircraft: http://indiafoxtecho.blogspot.com/?m=1 He has previously developed a host of quality military aircraft for P3d, some of which are everywhere as realistic as those from A2A etc..
