Amazing... it's been there for a long time and now is gone!

Try this one:

I got that one and that one is easier to use but I have never edited a json file ever I'm used to the way you install repaints in FSX

You don't have to edit a json file if you use that tool, it will automatically add what's needed. So other than that, you add this livery just like in FSX.

OK I've PM'ed you with a couple of questions so we can take this offline and work it out.  Since we seem to be in the same time zone maybe we can get on Discord and walk through it if you are able to do so.

If you do manage to fix this offline, could I ask you to post a brief synopsis in this thread?

I have the json generator and found it worked great when adjusting other things.  It is that fast it looks like it hasn't worked at first. 🙂

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Sure.  Are you having an issue as well, though?  With well over 100 downloads and no other problems reported, I'm not sure if I should be nervous?

And I didn't want to take over this thread talking about one measly repaint.

No problems yet - I mean to try this later though and I have had no success yet with some other repaints for other models, so I might be missing a step.

Without going in to too much detail and having to type the whole procedure, if you think there might be a few important steps people need to follow that are commonly missed (based on awash2002's experience for example), that might be of value to a few of us.  Sincere thanks for any thoughts on this. 👍

I'll try to install it again and see what happens

Tell ya what: I can make a new thread with explanations and screenshots that can be used as a guide for this or any other livery that you'd want to incorporate into an existing aircraft mod in your community folder.  I've added dozens of liveries to this and other aircraft and the process is straightforward with just a couple of potential "gotcha's" due to the layout.json and required folder nesting.

Superb.  I think a lot of people would find that very useful.  It is those 'gotcha's' you mention that get ya! 😁

Afterwards, it could go in the tips and tricks section maybe.

As long as the sim doesn't change too much, this kind of guide will only need to be done once.

I think it might be done already, somewhere, haven't looked, but no problem doing it anyway.

Hey Rob, funny story, I just wrote a 500+ word fan mail, including a 🥰 smiley and some thoughts regarding Github, but then…

uc?id=10Qiv2SSPdegvtM21XXnU079SHjOK9BNW&

…so please imagine receiving a message full of love, praise and gratitude.

Anyone tried the mod with the new update?

If so what’s the verdict?

The made some changes to mixture I believe is this affecting the mod at all?
