This may be my first MSFS addon purchase as well. You can’t beat $7 for this quality of work. Here’s to hoping a good airliner comes soon.

As soon as I will receive the discount as a previous owner of the FSX/P3D version, I will also buy it. Also my first MSFS purchase. 😉

My workplace and home base... must have for me. YVR in sim right now is woefully portrayed. Might have to grab Kelowna too.

Do they update the scenery? I was looking at the screenshots. I will definitely be getting it, but it is a few years out of date (2014 accuracy). There is an Airside Operations building now, new De Icing pads, de commissioning of parking lots, new Pier D, New east apron hard stands etc. Much better rendition than base sim though!!

Just picked up Kelowna - lots of detail, and the custom POIs are great.

Why does it force me to install in my P3Dv4 Addon folder and does not let me install in my MSFS folder?

Just because I have 4.5 version of P3D FSDT airports?

Hard to say no to airports in your local area. Good to know!

Does anyone else have insane shimmering and flickering on the sides of the terminal building when looking from the Runway. I just want to make sure that this is something that is inherent to MSFS at this point. I get that the window lattice on the terminals is exactly where it would be but i'm getting it worse than any other airport right now. Hopefully I can work around this.

How do I change the install folder for MSFS? "browse" is greyed out

Why can't their update program pick where its installed from the regedit? I don't get their convoluted logic of forcing us their own process. They seem so trigger happy to go away from standard so easily. 

Now my MSFS addons are spread over multiple disks. I had installed P3D4_5 in a totally different HD and now this is going to sit there instead of where I have all my MSFS addons.

If you uninstall all your FSDT products AND reply YES to the question "do you want to remove the Addon Manager ?", on the NEXT install it will ASK a new destination for the Addon Manager, which should NOT be the MSFS package folder and, in fact, the installer will prevent you from doing that. You can install *everywhere* ( every folder or every drive ) EXCEPT the MSFS folder.

You'll thank me for that later. Not that we are doing anything "strange". OrbX does that too: install in their own folder, with a symbolic link to the Community folder. That's the best solution, trust me.

I have mostly hyperlinks in community folders and I have moved all my addons to another folder outside MSFS. 

What after installing in the folder you have forced me to install in.. with all the other P3Dv45, I copy that folder over to community..would that work?

Not sure what all the fuss is with the flood of 3rd party scenery for MSFS.

It seems like most of the stuff is rushed and doesn't really appear any better then the default scenery.

Certainly one's home airport might be worth it but I can't see buying all this stuff for the one offs of flying in and out of various airports.

Orbx has multiple choice for installing. I can install in community folder or two other folders. I don't believe they mix P3D v4 with v5 and MSFS.
