Love this video series.

It means that the weekly update should be close as well. I don't expect much from it other than this video though. Next week should be much better.

This week's update is slated to also feature a new Partnership Series release, as well as an update on the SDK and third-party content. We might also get some information on next week's patch, as well as the updated Feedback Snapshot which, according to a community manager, will feature some of the stuff that the team is working on but not requested in the official forums. Next week's update will only have the last Around the World trailer and another SDK update, so this week's will probably be more significant.

Next week will have Update #5 though. That's what I am waiting for. Now that I think about it that might drop some days earlier.

If would be nice if Asobo/Microsoft was able to get more photogrammetry for Canadian cities.  For example, the photogrammetry for Vancouver is very poor.  What you see in that video is downtown Vancouver and that’s all the photogrammetry is available for Vancouver in MSFS,

If you fly around metro Vancouver outside of downtown, it’s all auto generated and there isn’t any photogrammetry.  From my recollection, Calgary and Edmonton also have poor photogrammetry outside of the downtown areas.

If you skip down to Seattle though which isn’t far from Vancouver, Seattle has amazing photogrammetry that covers much of the Seattle metro area.  So hopefully, Asobo/Microsoft will show a little love and add more photogrammetry for Canadian cities that are missing it in a future update.

Yes, it will drop two days before that (it seems that all patches are scheduled for Tuesdays). So we might get some information about that patch today (it will probably be the first Simulation Update which will be quite major), and full patch notes when it's out.

Such improvements will probably come with future World Updates, which will depend on the progress that the Bing Maps team are making. The next one will be for the USA, so it could be a while until Canada is improved.

San Diego didn't look great either and there's still the problem with bridges.

That said, I thought (as a non-Canadian) that Ottawa, Toronto, Victoria and Winnepeg all looked good.

I think that it's great that we *finally* get some decent Canadian aerial imagery. It looks a lot better than Greenland and Mexico City did in the video.

Second that, and please add Victoria to the list...

I’m tempted to make a new thread on the Wishlist forum to get Asobo’s attention and maybe a bunch of us Canadians can go and upvote it.  There is a highly voted thread in the Wishlist forum that is asking for an upgrade to the Korean scenery so it looks like enough Koreans banded together to upvote that thread. And the Koreans got the attention of Asobo because the last I checked, Asobo labeled “investigating” as the status for that wishlist thread for Korean scenery,

North America is going to be the next world update right?  I recall them mentioning they had gotten much better data for the US.

So does anyone have photogrammetry in their sim looking like this?  They put together amazing looking videos but my experience has not been anything like what is seen here (or in any of the marketing videos for that matter).....in fact I have recently disabled photogrammetry because of how bad it looks sometimes (ie pointy buildings, trees, etc)....
