Why doesn't Asobo hire the guy at WorkingTitle (the G1000, G3000, CJ4 mod guy) and also the Airbus320 mod guy. 🤷♂️ These guys seem to have the talent and enthusiasm to do this particular work much better than Asobo. I wonder if Asobo even knows these mods exist. For GNS and GTN, we have a very accomplished developer waiting in the wings for a meaningful SDK. And he has spend a great deal of time on the G#### series as well. November 6, 20205 yr More empty promises and no real progress being made. Spend 100% of the time on the SDK so us 3PDs can finish this sim for you.
November 6, 20205 yr Commercial Member It seems that the Asobo is just beginning to realize the real amount of work that needs to be done to turn the Xbox console game into a PC flight simulator. This is a huge task to make FS2020 suitable to the two different markets. Edited November 6, 20205 yr by OSM
November 6, 20205 yr And please! Dear developers, "fix" that stutter that occured after last update!!! Please, it was smooth as silk before the last update, but after that, its awful stutters that was not there before

Hiring those devs won't get you that content in the base sim unless the higher ups ask them to do it. 5 hours ago, MatthewS said: I wonder if Asobo even knows these mods exist. They mentioned the A320 addon on the last Q&A video so they do. 1 hour ago, OSM said: It seems that the Asobo is just beginning to realize the real amount of work that needs to be done to turn the Xbox console game into a PC flight simulator. Uh the PC version came first, 🙄 this is a very heavily modified FSX base. There is no 'Xbox console game' version yet, or at least a ready to show version, they said console version development wouldn't start until the PC version releases either way. 1 hour ago, langly said: More empty promises and no real progress being made. They fixed/added a bunch of things they said they'd do. 6 hours ago, marsman2020 said: Since they aren't solving the current list, it ensures that it is less and less likely that we can get anything new onto the list. November 6, 20205 yr I too much prefer the new night lighting. Very pleased they are not changing it. CJ

November 6, 20205 yr Wasn't there supposed to be a big SIM update beginning of November? Happy with MSFS 🙂 home simming evolved

Unbelievable. So if the devs work over Christmas and release this earlier its a simulator but if a lot of people are off over Christmas (so its Feb for release) then its a game. Well, at least for european simmers the "easy visbility" is highly unrealistic as we don't have continuos lit highways and secondary roads all over the continent. The night-time VFR experience therefore has been seriously degraded, not to mention runway lighting being visible from tens of miles out all over the place. While the lighting in well lit urban areas might be more discussable, even in those areas airports and runways are mostly darker spots in a sea of light. And that's what has set MSFS apart from the competion imho: in real VFR-flying one of many challenges is to find airports you have never been to before, that's true for day AND night. And because the devs decided to leave the runway lights on even in broad daylight, limiting flights to daytime isn't even an option for those who don't appreciate the lighting like you do. Granted, there's a good amount of subjectivity to the issue, but at least an option to have the daytime lighting set to "off" would prevent a lose/lose situation for many. In this case Asobo doesn't need PMDG and sophisticated SDK!😄 Edited November 6, 20205 yr by OSM
November 6, 20205 yr For me the first and importend thing is and should be to give all the planes the highest priority in fix things as AP, Avionics at least all things that should be fixed. And not bring other things in the Sim this isn`t important.. All the other Stuff should be fixed time after time with the Updates later, as far all the Planes are fixed. The concentrate should be the planes, without working planes the sim is nothing, all the other Stuff should come behind IMO . cheers 😉 Edited November 6, 20205 yr by pmplayer 08.2024 new PC is online : ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI Mainboard, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D Prozessor, G.Skill DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X E 24G OC Grafikkarte, 2x WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB - Drive C+D, WD Gold Enterprise Class 12 TB for storage HDD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W PC - Power supply, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO CPU Aircooler with 7 Heatpipes, Design Meshify 2 White TG Clear Tint Tower-Case, 3x 4K monitors 2x32 Samsung 1x27 LG 3840x2160, Windows11 Prof. 23H2 - now Windows11 Prof. 25H2 Flightsimulator Hardware: Honeycomb Throttle Bravo, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, Logitech Flight Joke System, XBox Controller, some Thrustmaster stuff, Winwing CDU Panels.

The lightening issues I have experienced in sunny skies are closely adjacent to live weather showers. The issues have been lightening and thunder in areas where there are rain showers but not thunderstorms. And then the issue where the sim is producing lightening and thunder, it is so relentless and non stop that the world seems to be coming to and end. Totally unrealistic. Sounds like you are describing #18 and not #3? I can confirm "Lightening in mostly sunny skies" statement for me is accurate as I witnessed the same thing during flights in south America with real world weather.
