On the other hand, i find it a great  improvment in the immersion,. are there issues? yup for sure... But they are down to MS/Asobo, not the developer that's created an amasing free program for our use.

The most sensible thing to do at this point is add functionality in the SDK to allow an exclusion polygon to disable existing AI at at airport and allow users to create replacements.  I guarantee that with the community we have at places like flightsim.to that you'ld see fully functional replacements at the vast majority of airports in a matter of months.  Time to enable the "crowd source" mentality to solve this problem imho.  Adding this to the SDK is a much easier and straightforward task for Asobo than managing the correction of tens of thousands of airfield AIs.

Thats not to say that anyone let up on the pressure towards Asobo and 3PDs to do better, but if we want to see a solution, I think the community is far more motivated and we WOULD see results.

we actual have a 40% soltion for a completly standalone AI ready, but with the different directions of P3D and MSFS I have issues keeping up the compability for both.....

Kaii3 you are the perfect example to me that says the ultimate solution to this is going to come from the community...

Which, when you consider the history of the flightsimming hobby over the past 25+ years is neither unprecedented nor undesirable.   I'd be more interested in Asobo working on the core logic issues that you've illuminated (e.g. not clearing an AI plane onto the runway when another is on short final), and leave the more "database"-ish task of fixing every airport up to 3pds and us.

Just starting using AIG AI-Manager. I've downloaded and installed several airlines without any issues except for airlines like Air Canada that have .zip at the end of the file. Anyone else have this problem?

Have you got tabs for flightsim.com, aig forum and Av Sim library opened and have logged in with your credentials?

I'm currently having problems with AIG AI Manager and the TC.I've downloaded both versions again after deleting the old AI Manager and TC folders after i messed up with paths to my sim folder.Now it will load but that's it.Both programs just pop up on my screen and load but doesn't work.I keep getting an empty drop down menu and an OK button in between the AI Manager titles when i click it.It shuts the loading app down.

If the drop down menu is empty, they do not recognize MSFS to be installed. You could try adding a "-MSFS2020" in the shortcut-path for the AIM and see if it loads. But I honestly think you somehow botched your MSFS installation, at least in regards to registry entries.

That is not necessary, you only have to logged in inside the AIM's settings (and only for the AIG site IIRC).

I'd say P3D's AI is "fine", so your AI solution doesn't have to be kept compatible to P3D. Or do you mean the AIGTC in general?

Yeah,i renamed my flight simulator folder and it didn't recognize it so i renamed it back and it works again.I'm also having trouble trying to inject traffic when the sim is in the main menu.Then i can't click the Inject Traffic tab.

You should only start (= double-click on) the AIGTC when the sim main menu has loaded, otherwise it won‘t connect at all. Then when the flight has loaded you can click on „inject“ in the AIGTC. Not sure why you would want to inject into the main menu…?

I did set that up originally when I first downloaded all the flightplans and models available on the initial release.

Next few updates worked fine.

However lately when updating I have found that very occasionally some have not been loading up and a pop up box appears.

opening relevant tabs as I indicated cured the issues. I haven't checked if the setting has somehow been changed, but i did not disable anything.

My advice is only a suggestion to help overcome same issues as I encountered, and i means can leave the pc to proceed with the download and update without issues and getting hung on individual files.
