Never mind the fact that 95% of the third party post there are in one way or another a support post asking other users for help. Never mind that the majority of users don't have, use or want Discord. And never mind that it wasn't insults, hate speech or provocative post that caused the thread to be closed. Users helping users is what it's all about but the moderators there seem intent on killing off many of the discussions where users can do just that. tell that the mods over there 😉 I have better things to do.....

I did, but that's where they stated to me support threads are not allowed and that is what the thread was. I figured AIG was busy enough that users helping users also helps AIG in the end. But I guess the mods over there don't see it that way and want you to answer any and all questions. James

February 20, 20224 yr Quick question. When downloading flight plans, Air New Zealand and Kenya Airways for example, I got error messages Unable to download the file, site returns an error, service not available. What happens in this case, should I try again or ignore such errors. What will happen in sim tho, will their be white or black aircraft or worse CTD’s? It just hangs and you have to force close program. Kai....one small request: On your website under news..can you put a date when you send out news updates. I can never tell how current the news is. It hung for a long time and then gave the error message with the OK button. I clicked OK and the One Click Install window closed and I was at the main Traffic Manager window. These files now appear under the Errors tab in the Traffic Manager. I am not sure if I should try again but perhaps that risks duplicating some files. Get the download at https://flightsim.to/file/6787/offline-ai-traffic-stock-traffic-bgl-fix Install the "offline_ai_traffic_ga_fixed" traffic folder/files from the download into your community folder. Locate the layout.json in your fs-base-ai-traffic folder inside the official folder and replace it with the layout.json file from the download. Note: if you don't do this then stock traffic will still show up or, if you allowed aig to change the stock traffic file name, you will get CTDs. Changing the layout.json with the one from the download fixes both issues. Don't worry about anything else from the download, you only need those two things. In MSFS turn offline traffic on. That's it. Community PSA, Dont forget to recopy the layout.json file from this mod after updating to SU8. I was getting frustrated that AIG TC kept freezing/crashing. I stopped offline traffic and voila the crashes stopped. I was just about to post here and remembered this copy step. After once again replacing the file in the Official folder I am back to enjoying the mix of AIG airliners and GA traffic.

I know Asobo had a job offer out there for someone to fix the AI and I'd like to know where they are with things, Neumann just smiled at the last Q&A and didn't update. Two years into this (almost) and there are no significant AI improvements. I find it outrageous that default airports are still being released with bugs of the type found within that report after 2+ years of MSFS development. In their March 2nd dev talk, Asobo mentioned AIG and Kaiii. They said that AIG gave them a "very detailed, thoughtful, document" regarding the state of MSFS AI, and that they need to get on the phone with Kai. Perhaps Kaiii can comment as to whether or not they've had that call. Time linked, Edited March 31, 20224 yr by Waldo Pepper
March 31, 20224 yr I've given up with this. Can't see it's worth the time, grief and hassle. That's not to say I do not acknowledge the amazing time and effort the developer has put into it. There has to be a better way.
