Works with AIG Offline injected traffic.

 

Get the download at https://flightsim.to/file/6787/offline-ai-traffic-stock-traffic-bgl-fix

Install the "offline_ai_traffic_ga_fixed" traffic folder/files from the download into your community folder.

Locate the layout.json in your fs-base-ai-traffic folder inside the official folder and replace it with the layout.json file from the download. Note: if you don't do this then stock traffic will still show up or, if you allowed aig to change the stock traffic file name, you will get CTDs. Changing the layout.json with the one from the download fixes both issues.

Don't worry about anything else from the download, you only need those two things.

In MSFS turn offline traffic on.

That's it.

I've been using the offline traffic setting with AIG TC and the default traffic file enable without any ctds. It's good to know that there is a remedy if I have any problems in the future.

My method removes the default airliner traffic letting AIG handle Airliners. My method only adds back in the GA traffic.

I'm assuming that I let TC disable the traffic file.

Correct. One of the other is just a copy of the original msfs one if you ever want to go back. The third I have no idea, but it's not needed.

No, the layout.json takes care of that and does so in a way that doesn't cause problems.

I presently have 671 online flight plans to select from I am looking for Lufthansa but cannot find in the drop down, only Lufthansa Cargo 2021 summer. Should I have more flight plans to include Lufthansa and if so how do I get them?  Struggling with this program a little.

Ground traffic simply places planes at gates/ramps/parking to make the airport look fuller. These planes do not depart, they are merely filler.  I have mine turned off and I'm fine with the amount of planes I see (planes that are parked and will eventually depart), but the setting is really up to you. If you feel the airports you fly at look too empty, then increasing the ground slider may make it look better for you. Just remember these are not planes that will takeoff.

Ok, but with those modified GA traffic files, will then only GA planes be used as ground traffic? Or the whole bunch of available AI aircraft?

My AIG Manager seems to have lost its aircraft library of available airline downloads.  I can only see currently installed airlines but cannot install new ones.  Anyone know why this happens or what the solution is?

MSFS closed the AIG thread over on the official forums third party section for it supposedly being used as a support forum by users, suggesting users go to the official AIG discord instead. Never mind the fact that 95% of the third party post there are in one way or another a support post asking other users for help. Never mind that the majority of users don't have, use or want Discord. And never mind that it wasn't insults, hate speech or provocative post that caused the thread to be closed.

Users helping users is what it's all about but the moderators there seem intent on killing off many of the discussions where users can do just that.
