I'm having the same issue. Mine just freezes and doesn't respond.

Let it go, mine was crawling for literally 20 minutes and it finally updates itself.

Yes I found the same thing after leaving it running for a while.

Same.  It seemed to be frozen for at least an hour, but then it finally broke free and now is churning through the updates.  Be patient.

Same here, after several attempts, the update was successful - thank you all for your replies!

Are the AIG planes better on frames than the default MSFS ai planes? I can have more AIG planes at the airport and have better frames compared to stock?

I think we need clear instruction how to update properly because I do not understand what’s going on 😅

The servers update was slated for mid February. Will it be announced here - or elsewhere?

It's been explained and certainly lost in this long thread. Never mind.

  1. Download the two .ZIP files (links are in Kaiii3's message) for the Manager (AIM) and the Traffic Controller (AITC).
  2. Replace all files of your respective AIM and AITC with the respective zip content.
  3. Launch the Manager (AIM) and be very patient. You may believe the program is frozen. You'll certainly have another new update after the first launch... then wait again.
  4. Once AIM has started, go to Settings, "OCI Setup", and click on "Verify Setup" and wait again (a pop up opens asking if you want to install missing liveries, click YES). This process will correct anything wrong (like .cfg files) and download liveries/models updates.
  5. I suggest you then go to "FlightPlan" and update any of your already downloaded flightplan, models and liveries.
  6. As suggested before in this thread, check that you're still connected to flightsim.com in case OCI needs it

All these steps written here from my memory. Correct me if there's anything wrong or typos.

Check my free MSFS sceneries : https://flightsim.to/profile/vbazillio/trending and my hardware configuration.

Also, when you verify the setup be sure to select YES to install missing liveries as this is where you get the new 767, A300, A220, Saab 340 liveries etc.

This one is critical. I advise everyone to check for the pop ups in the background. Right when you wonder why it's taking so long, there's a prompt in the background that wants your attention.

MSFS

Things were definitely a bit slower than usual but once I got AIGM running i let it run overnight and I’m now up to date.  I saw it downloading a whole bunch of 767s so I’m a happy camper 🙂
