Hi - good to hear from you; I was going to send you a message but have been too busy the last days. Let’s speak next week. I am far from civilisation right now. Great with the cranes and containers; another thing which could need an upgrade is oil storage tanks. The MSFS version mostly comes with windows….

Yes, an upgrade of oil storage tanks would be very welcome. Some locations like this do not even have circular objects depicting the tanks, and there are others with no structures whatsoever (only the images in the base scenery).

Unfortunately, I don't see any ships in MSFS2024 while it works very well in MSFS2020.

I followed the instructions according to the AIG forum without succes, but the settings seem to be before the recent SP. Can anyone please help me about the new settings with SP3 in MSFS2024?

link of last versión pls?

thanks

Hello Dear shipsimmers. Its been a long time since I used GAIST, never worked for me in 2024. So I switched to the Payware Addon. Its ok, but not more. So I came here today and have seen all those nice Ships in the Harbor and it is called GAIST HArbor. Is that an extra Addon or is it included in GAIST 7 or GAIST Extra Routes? Thank you for answering.

Version 7 from flightsim.to works for me in MSFS2024: https://flightsim.to/addon/81663/global-ai-ship-traffic-v6

How? It doesnt for anyone else. Are you sure you arent seeing default traffic?

To be fair, didn't pay much attention what makes me seeing ships in MSFS2024, just thought those were from GAIST.
I can only report that I see some when approaching airports on shore but good to know that these could be from in-sim too!

They are not. GAIST definately works with default Live Traffic. Of course the modelmatching that ASOBO implemented is bantha podoo, but nontheless the models DO show up.

So I downloaded the new Version and as before have ships everywhere bumping into each other. The setting is set to ultra as recommendet and live traffic not KI TRaffic. Is that as it is planed?

I have not seen Henrik around here in some time. Has he locked himself away in a nuclear bunker to solve the AI Offline problem with GAIST, or has he given up on MSFS 2024?

Little Update to my recent post, maybe someone can answer if he had similar Problems. In 2020 it seems that all is fine, ships are there and drive as the should be on their routes. But in 2024 it is all messed up. If I take KI I only have very few vessels, if I switch to online, as in 2020, they bump in each other and funny thing, in the Harbors they are often rotated about 90 degrees. So they are not parallel to the pier but rotated 90 degrees and therefore the half ship is stuck into land.

Offline BGL traffic is currently not working in MSFS2024, only way to see the ships would be to use live ship traffic.

In order for ships to display in MSFS 2020 ensure your traffic settings for Ships and Ferries are 5-10%. You can use a higher setting but it will not increase the amount of shipping provided by GAIST and it can result in onflicts with other AI ship traffic including default.
