November 27, 20205 yr I have a Logitech Yoke system and pedals, and the default profile has assignments but it's hard to tell some of them without referring and querying the controls GUI. Is there a way to print out controller button/axis assignments?
November 28, 20205 yr Author Is it just not possible? Is there a cfg file somewhere that lists the controller assignment mappings?
November 29, 20205 yr Author Is there not a text based cfg file that lists the controller assignments?

Googling "fs2020 keyboard shortcuts pdf" will find several versions people have created for keyboards for example. I believe the original poster wants something different - a file showing his current personal settings. I do not know where MSFS saves those settings. Providing they are actually in a single place, my best guess is they will be in an XML file somewhere, not a text file. Edited November 30, 20205 yr by Glenn Fitzpatrick
November 30, 20205 yr I don't know about MS store versions, but for Steam versions look in steam apps. \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\MicrosoftFlightSimulator\Input James

I own a Saitek Cessna Yoke which didn't come preconfigured and which I had to configured myself and it's not in that folder. From what I keep hearing the actual settings are saved in the cloud, thus it might be impossible to read them off from a local file, but I could be wrong here. Referring to the axis and button mappings for my Logitech Yoke, throttle, and pedals.
November 30, 20205 yr MSFS "Profile" file locations for Steam install. After installing MSFS via Steam, the "Options" and "Personalized Controls" profiles are stored in the following location: ...\Steam\userdata\[your user number]\1250410\remote Any personalized "Controller" profiles are stored in "inputprofile_xxxxxxxxxx" files. They are XML files which can be edited using a text editor like notepad. In each file, near the top, will be the name you gave it when you created it in MSFS. For reference, the "Default" controller files are located in: ...\Steam\steamapps\common\MicrosoftFlightSimulator\Input I don't know the file locations for a MS Store installation but you might try searching for "inputprofile*" files. November 30, 20205 yr For MS Store installations, the control config files are in a very obscure location, but they are readable and editable once you've found them. 1. Go to your main user folder (typically C:\Users\username) 2. Under that folder you should find AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_xxxxxxxx 3. Under that folder you should find SystemAppData\wgs, which should then contain a folder with some random numbers/letters as the name. 4. Inside that folder you should find several folders with random numbers/letters as the name. Some (but not all) of these folders will represent a particular controller profile. These will contain a file - again, with a name consisting of random numbers/letters - which is actually an XML file describing the settings for that controller. It's a question of going through each folder until you find the one you need. 5. Once you've found the right file, the format is thankfully easy to understand. For example, on my system my keyboard mappings are in C:\Users\Jacob\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData\wgs\000901F30E4D7E22_00000000000000000000000069F80140\F3D5E2AA966C4F55878F849EF7F3973A\D2680217D98F4CCEBB3C0CDB752DA544 Edited November 30, 20205 yr by loge
