Where's there's a gap in the market - there's a market in the gap.

Looking forward to this, being a seafarer, and sick to death of Sunken Boat Sim that is MSFS2020 when it comes to water.

It's not clear if this will correct the existing sat images though.  Maybe I missed it.  Still looks great though, I'd buy it.

Looks like the Henrik Nielsen mod for FSX which actually works already in MSFS, there is a thread knocking about with instructions how to get it to work.  I've tried this myself and works a treat!

Will this work along with the Global Ship Traffic v2 mod that we currently have? Would love to see more boats in the oceans, coasts, etc. Still not enough to me.

I'm still waiting to see a moving boat - let alone a moving one with wake effects.

Will this product fix all locations that have sunken boats?

Yes, it does to appear to be sunken boats. I thought this product was to fix that problem?

Yeah, but it's about 4 pages of serious hack and slash.  I would love to do it if someone who has actually got it working well could write a step by step instruction on exactly how.  I will keep monitoring though.

I thought an offical version is being released  and all that chatter is just to hack the prepar3d version 2 into MSFS.  I would pay for the orginal  Henrik Nielsen mod. He deserves it.

Those are modelled fingerprints on the aircraft side window, not "sunken boats".
You see that they all move at the same speed and direction as the aeroplane.

That was a comment by the OP, not the developers.
There's no information yet that says whether they will or not fix sunken boats, only that:

At 1:03 in the YT video, we can see a yacht moving.
That's the only definite model moving, everything else appears static at the moment.
