I did email them them back in middle of February to ask about the update and they did respond showing some of the work in progress but saying there was more ro be done before they could release.

Yep, but you're absolutely right that it would be a huge help if they published something publically, even if it's just to say what they told me - things are in progress but there's still more to do,

Friends, thank you for your interest to the product and for your patience waiting for updates and bug fixes. Unfortunately we are faced with some nasty issues during working on the update, and honestly some of the most complicated issues are still there.
Anyway here is the changelog of the version 2.06 we release today:

- Multiplayer compatibility provided
- Sounds pack updated. Engine sounds now a bit more native, some nasty sounds are updated
- Canopy shaking in hangar fixed
- COMM radio autoset added. Devices like Logitech Radio Panels are not supported this moment
- Transponder behaviour fixed
- DG gauge improved
- Сockpit warming provided
- Glass fligering on wing lights fixed
- Pilots-outside bug is fixed. However, I am not 100% sure about that.. Unfortunately we can't repeat that on several of our PCs. If you are still faced with it, there are a couple ways to fix it: change the pilots' avatars, change the livery in dev.mode\aircraft selector menu.
- Bended prop issue fixed. It still occurs if you have the aircraft as default plane and load the "hangar" just after loading MSFS you'll see no blades. Changing the livery helps, never faced with it outside the "hangar". This is all about the prop-bend-gear-up-landing feature, and honestly we want to keep it and will try to find out in future updates.
- Some more minor fixes

If you'll buy it right now you'll get a letter with a link to the updated package. If you bought it before, nearest days you'll receive the letter with this changelog and link to the new file. If you do not want to wait, you may redownload and reinstall it with the link in your purchase letter, the file on site is updated.

As usual we are open for any feedback, just please keep in mind that development takes time, time is limited and it is hard to find time to control all media and community resources, comments. messages etc. If you want your message to be readed for sure, send it to the e-mail. It that means it no longer sounds like a crash landing even when you manage a greaser, that will fix my personal single biggest complaint with this thing.  That was so jarring. Yay updates!

Oh No!  I have so many planes downloading at the moment I will be lucky to get a flight out of anything before bed time!  

I am so glad AT Simulations came through on this.  it has been one of my favourite planes for a while.

Is it? It still reads ats-fwp149d-2.0.exe, nothing like 2.06...

Me too!  At least my time zone is a bit more friendly for these releases today 🙂. Two GA flights tonight is my plan, first the Arrow then this.

Does anyone know what a new switch "DG mode switch DG"/"DG mode switch x-o" means and how to use it?

In simpke terms it is the difference between direct mode ans slaved mode. In direct mode the you need to update the compass from time to time with the magnetic compass readings. In slaved mode it does that automatically and if the XO is shown centered all is good. Especially after starting up it is not and you nee to sync it manually by turning the bottom right knob into the direction of the symbol you see in the window top right.

The synchronization  should stay on and work during normal operations. But if you fly aerobatic maneuvers it cannot follow and you need to reset once you are back to level flight...

I was waiting for the long awaited update before taking the plunge on the Piaggio. However, their update coincided with the JF Arrow and the joys of Sim update 3, so it went off my radar. Did the patch fix a lot of the issues people had?
