looks like a good deal if it enhances all airports as stated.  My only concern would be conflicts with existing freeware airports (of which many already have upgraded textures) and when Asobo update the sim.

Good point. It seems that it won't modify the payware airports and those freeware ones with their own textures (at least this is what they say on the product page at SimMarket).

My concern is more related to the installation. Will it overwrite the stock textures or will it be installed as an add-on in the Community Folder?.

I'm sure someone will make a freeware version before too long.

Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)

Zinertek at it again!  I must admit, I had similar packs of theirs in FSX, and they were pretty good.

There is no doubt the default lines and surfaces do look a bit too fresh in the sim, and these look more 'lived in'.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

I'm thinking mostly textures.

Ok - I will go first, no problem!

I bought it.  It does go in the community folder and can be simply removed if you don't want it.  Also, they say this: -

COMPATIBILITY WITH THIRD PARTY ADD-ON AIRPORTS

Freeware

This product will only enhance third party airports that rely on the default airport textures. Most freeware airports do this, so you will see a lot of your freeware airports enhanced.

Payware

For the most part payware airports (and a few freeware airports) come with their own custom textures, so you should not see those airports modified or affected in any way.

Just off to try it now!

It does look a lot better if the pics are anything to go by.

Yes they are..but

if its going to be repetitive..then there is no value add! Is there an add on that makes each runway unique?  If they can't do it, then go away! LOL 🙂

If you can take the runway texture from Google or MS or some other aerial photo and overlay it on each runway, then I'll get it. Replacing the Asosbo default 10-50 runways textures with your own 10-50 runway textures do not add any value. It is still repetitive and I hate reparative runway texture.

I'm quite excited to see this new addon.  For years I would only fly into payware airports, but MSFS changed that.  Now it's the scenery within 5 miles of the airport that's appealing.  So, this should be a good enhancement as I'm mostly flying into defaults anyway.

More interested in default airports with most buildings missing.  Try KESN, Easton, Maryland.  Parking 1.  Anything other than a control tower, a radio beacon, and flat blobs of color where hangars and other structures should be?  The flight line should have ten significant hangars.  Default has 10 flat blobs.

You can add these yourself in a minute with the scenery editor.

What editor?  The one in the Developer mode?  Started into it and got totally frustrated.  I have some experience in ADE and successfully recreated two airports key to me in FSX.  But totally bewildered with the mechanisms in MSFS Developer mode.
