A new review has been posted on the Power Solo.  For me personally the graphics are still a wee bit too cartoony to buy just yet, Though every time you see it he seems to have tweaked a few textures or improved something.

 

I think, maybe, that I don’t notice the cartoonish oddness of the VGP because I never, ever use an external view. Not even out of curiosity.  And, being a VR user, this plane affords the most amazing views of the surrounding scenery. So with both the views, and the lovely flight modelling, I’m a happy boy, and this plane has very quickly become my weapon of choice. To be honest, I’d fly a shoe box with wings if the flight model was good 😀

why would you prefer to get it direct?

Assuming it lives up to it promise next thing I buy will likely be the JustFlight Arrow III (or a combo pack of that and the Turbo Arrow III/IV if JF release one).

Orbx are currently doing a UK Regional Sale on their site which includes MSFS Dundee for 30(ish)% off

(Sale lasts till 11AM GMT on 25th if I'm calculating correctly)

Firstly, all my Orbx products are handled through Orbx Central so it makes sense to keep things simple, and secondly, the price is lower through Orbx. The only downside it that the Marketplace isn't smart enough to notice you already have something installed so it doesn't show up as purchased.

I know, thanks. I mentioned it on page 2 of this thread and have picked up Dundee, Newcastle and London Landmarks.👍

I would probably hold off on installing London landmarks unless you have photogrammetry turned off. Orbx are looking to revise the product to better fit in with the new UK update.

Which is fair enough.  I will probably end up with both, and the Cri Cri as well.

For me though the 103 was just so much better visually I ended up getting it first.

I decided it was worth the risk since that pending revision has already been announced. I can always disable it if I have problems.

My next purchase would be my first purchase....so far not a darn thing offered is on my 'must have' list.

 

An Nvidia 3070/80 (he joked).

But more likely JF's Arrow, but waiting with baited breath to see what A2A come out with, given the unfortunate change of plans re the Aerostar.

The JF Arrow should be out next week. Let's hope for a successful release.
