New CRJ video series

Fair enough, I oversimplified it a bit. There are of course more factors then just failures. And I mean sure you watch for your airspeed and stuff like that without failures enabled too. Its more like a complete package.

Yup, I agree that having things which can bust is definitely more involving, otherwise I would not have bought the FSL A320 (twice lol) as well as the Aerosoft ones. But the fact that i did buy the Aerosoft ones after I bought the FSL ones (and the Black Box ones too incidentally) shows that add-ons which don't have failures but come in at a decent price point have their merits too. This Aerosoft CRJ is coming in at the sub-fifty quid price point, and that's going to make it a big seller.

Personally I like the feeling that something COULD fail. I'd rather nothing failed, but the knowledge that I could lose the ILS or bleed air makes the whole thing seem more exciting for me personally. Its just a preference.

I don’t see why not. It dives in the P3D version.

I spoke too late. Is that right, no Auto fill. Interesting.

I hope that's not the case, if it is, I'm guessing Aerosoft just reduced the buyer base by about 20%.

Or at the very least, allow import through simbrief.

Bonus points if it takes the weight and balance and fuel loads from simbrief too. Honestly I'm a pilot not a dispatcher! 😄

agreed.. if it doesn't populate from the inbuilt MSFS flight planner, then it's a no buy option for many I would have thought as that will preclude the ability to just fire up and fly.

I would suspect that the majority of users have no inclination to spend 10 minutes in the cockpit inputting a flight plan or using something like simbrief to pre-plan their flight and import a flight plan.

We don't even know yet if things such as simbrief will be capable of running on an Xbox yet so that may remove the entire Xbox community from sales.

Seems like a very restrictive option and will lead to a lot of lost sales of the aircraft and would be the first aircraft, including the 737, that does not have this capability so I really am not sure this will be the case.

System specs...   CPU AMD5950,  GPU AMD6900XT,  ROG crosshair VIII Hero motherboard, Corsair 64 gig LPX 3600 mem, Air cooling on GPU,   Kraken x pump cooling on CPU.  Samsung G7 curved 27" monitor at 2k resolution ULTRA default settings.

Its a 2 min job to enter the flight plan.

Flight planing is all part of flying an airliner. Simbief is great. I do agree I wish you could import a Simbrif route into the CRJ. But also think the CRJ is a short hop airliner so its not like entering a 10 hour flight into a 747 manualy.

There is no wing flex so dont even ask about that. Thats a funny topic as they said the A320 wings did not flex  enough for them to do it, but FSL did and you could see it. But they say the CRJ wings flex is so small it would be a few pixals at best, and given how short the wings are this time I will give them the benifit of dought.

I read they is no flight import. So live with it. Hopefully they can add it.

Dont ask me to link the wing flex or about simbief there topic is a nightmare to read though and I am not posting in there forums with there moron buttons active.
