Ohhhhh Yes!   Wheels, floats, ski's...  Bright paint schemes in case you get stuck in the Antarctic.  Bring it on.!

In many ways, this is an ideal aircraft for MSFS.  A bit of substance to it, multi engine, good field performance, and can fly low and slow or a bit higher if you want.
And fly virtually anywhere with the floats and ski's.

If the reviews are good, it will be a guaranteed purchase for me.

I like the idea of the 'top coat' they are doing on the paint to introduce a subtle colour / tone variation.  That makes it look more life like without a doubt.

If I remember, their FSX version had a fairly decent sound pack as well.
That's a big part of the battle.  Give those ears something immersive to chew on while the eyes are taking in the scenery! 😀

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Hopefully they are reconstructing it from the ground up.

The FSX/P3D version that I have, has a very FS9ish cockpit and AS stubbornly refused to integrate the FS1 G750 into it !  A G3X would be a minimum.

I also expect them to wait for the rehab of the Asobo turboprop simulation environment.

Simming since 1981 -  [email protected] GHz with 16 GB of RAM and a 1080 with 8 GB VRAM running a 27" @ 2560*1440 - Windows 10 - Warthog HOTAS - MFG pedals - MSFS Standard version with Steam

I liked their Otter and Beaver for FSX, enjoyed both. Will buy this one regardless.

Awesome, I feel like this sim was made for a Twotter!

Current System (Running at 4k): ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F, Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 5090, 55" Samsung Q80T, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, EVGA CLC 280mm AIO Cooler, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS & Stick, Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant & Add-on, VirtualFly Ruddo+, TQ6+ and Yoko+, GoFlight MCP-PRO and EFIS, Skalarki FCU and MCDU

The FSX/P3D version had no water rudders. Asobo needs to get busy modelling differential thrust so the float version can be steerable on the water.

THIS will be a day one purchase for me... I love her in P3D and MSFS will allow for even more beautiful adventures in the Twotter... hopefully Asobo is working on flight dynamics and turbo prop simulation in preparation...

It has now become a habit for Aerosoft’s Mathijs Kok to share new development images of the Twin Otter every week. Aerosoft reveals first full cockpit images of the Twin Otter. Day one for me.

Looking really good.

MSFS

It's the one Aerosoft aircraft that I have and absolutely love.  I do hope they take their time and get things right with this one.  Fingers x'ed!
