This will be interesting to keep this thread to benchmark after every MSFS update. I am curious how much FPS did we lose from UK update until the SU3 update

Glad to see the JF  PA 28 is one of the best for FPS.

Thanks for this info! It makes me much more likely to get the JF PA-28.

As another posted mentioned, it would be great if you could redo the exercise after each update.

Thanks for doing this David!

Wow!  The CRJ doesn't come out too good from that.  It certainly isn't as FPS friendly as AS made out then (I think they said only about 15% worse than the A320).
Maybe this is why there is already a CRJ 'frame rate optimiser' over on flightsim.to.

Also, the Mooney has a bug with the volumetric lighting that Carenado still haven't fixed yet.
I bet with Navigation, Landing, and Taxi lights turned off, the framerate will rise similar to the other GA aircraft.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I set setting to High End, closed MSFS and started it again to test the AS CRJ with lower setting. it added 2 FPS. So yes its not 14% but the 14% they did was tested at 4k I cannot test that. But I did not think it was going to be as bigger hit as that.

I find the TBM with the G3000 mod kills my FPS. The Cessna classic is usually my go to, or the WT CJ4. Look forward to a good steam gauge twin...(Milviz?)

Phew, thats some big frame hit for the as crj.

Well done @Nyxx. An interesting post is rare these days with endless rant threads being the norm.

How does the A320 FBW fit into the above comparison? I fly that mainly and would like to buy the CRJ but running things at Ultra means I would have to drop settings as I am right on the limit in terms of smoothness. The CRJ does not come out of the above comparison too well.

1440P need to test in 4K, I can get the same at that res with a 2080ti.

Well do it then since you have 4k.

Would be indeed nice to add the FBW A320 to the list, because i suspect it's not too far away from the CRJ

I know what I can get in 4K it`s what the new 3000 GPU`s do, and now most of Gamers Nexus followers are taken a pass on the 3000 Series GPU`s, as in his latest vid he reports that things are not expected to improve on availability or pricing this year, and Nvidia flashed the 3060 for mining if the money rolls in who cares were it comes from.

If I turn up Render scale below I only lose 2 FPS. I Went from 54 to 52 it shows 58 becasue I had to hit apply and resume.

I turned Render scale to its max 200 and in the JF PA I had 28-35 FPS
