I know there are issues but:-

For me, and I can only comment for me, being the lucky person I am, but this sort of thing still blows me away compared to my early days in FSX...

A wonderful smooth flight, no stutters, in real weather on a Glorious Spring Day over London at 6000 feet, landing at Farnborough (Add on airfield) with just a few wisps of cloud in the sky running on a 2K screen at Ultra everything....

Even with the current issues that some are having and I really hope they get them all sorted out so that they can enjoy this to the same level I am enjoying it...

This sort of thing just makes me a really happy person and makes my day.

Regards to all

Same here, just flown the CJ4 from Graz to Dubrovnik, absolutely stunning easy to spend time just admiring the views from the external camera...

Last few flights the sim, CJ4 and P2A behaved absolutely perfectly. Amazing experience...

Those of us who have been simming since FS1 and FS2 are even more blown away by what we have now.  It's truly amazing, even with its bugs

Very true, this is the sim we were dreaming then. The flying/simming experience it gives when everything goes right, redeems its frustrating poor management, bugs and deficiencies.

Well, I started with FS4 and really miss the progress here tbh. Too sad I did not start with FS1/2 either

i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"

The performance is what draws me to MSFS more and more.

I fly exclusively in VR and while the commercial jet liners available for P3D are an itch that still needs scratching from time to time, it is just more enjoyable to fly VR in MSFS than it is in P3D because visuals and performance are just better.

For the most part, mine works great too.  I gripe a little here and there, but everything is so well done, the scenery is draw jopping!  Hopefully this program will continue to develop and improve for a long time.

As I have said several times in other posts, when MSFS is good, it is very very very good ... but when it is bad, it is a total frustration.  Thank goodness, that we can enjoy the good side and endure the frustration when it is a total stinker.

Bugs are opportunities IMO.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. Even though I have been flying FS since the first edition, as far as FS9 and FSX, MSFS2020 is another world - there is no comparison!

By the way Moria15, what is this Flybe twin you're flying?

Absolutely, MSFS is undeniably in a league of its own. How lucky are we.

its the EMB110 Bandeirante  from Next Gen  in a free livery from flghtsim.to     I find it a very theraputic plane to fly.  It is nice and easy to startup.. and a great plane for manual flying as it's easy to trim.. is basically steam dials  but does have an autopilot if you want it.   Perhaps just a tad overpriced, but frankly.. one off my favorite aircraft.   Comes in three versions and lots of liveries.  Not Sure how accurate the Flybe livery is but Air UK did have a couple as did Jersey Air which became Flybe so I am probably just skipping a few years 🙂.
