HotFix No. 1 for V 5.2 seems to be very close

Would be nice to have a fix for the dark cockpit.  Without having to try all the suggested tweaks.

If anybody is interested in tracking any changes to the LM 5.2HF1 page, here is the link: https://www.prepar3d.com/SDKv5/prepar3d/what_is_new/new_v52.html, then scroll to the bottom of the page where HF1 is described as in the first post here. Who knows if this is the final HF content?

Only you and someone else reported it. But you might be right as I just used a the rainy weather preset

I will test with Live weather from AS. Just updated it. In Belgium it is raining now.

Will report back…

I got it with live weather in a dense thunderstorm rain at Miami and in the Caribbean at MDSD.

Searching here all over Europe looking for rain. Where it was raining before it is now only cloudy.

Maybe later or tomorrow.

Light rain won't cause it. You need the heavy thunderstorm rain to trigger the bug.

I think you need to be in a VC environment or the camera placed behind the material which represents glass to see the bug. I dont see it either on a home cockpit setup (simAvionics 777)

Did I miss this or will there be a fix for the excessive CPU usage as well?

Cheers, Pete

🙂  ah thats made me laugh my nuts off.

A topic of 25 pages dedicated to the CPU issue, (and seemily according to this topic) , its not even in the hotfix.

thats brillant.

Nothing regarding the DXGI error when changing vehicle with RTSS info displayed. And I did report it on their forum.

This was fine with P3D v4.x.

That will be a view called virtual cockpit, but the camera is not inside a model. I think the issue is related to the material used in a VC model to represent the glass, something we don't see in prosim or simA
