Nope. Not solved although reported. 😐

This is a very sad news, this is the most fatal problem in P3D V5.2.

HTML issues where real HF issues....not visuals. But I know what you mean and Beta Testers did report it.

Yes.

I knew I should have waited. Was too excited because I skipped 5.2.

Hope Hifi is gonna sort that soon.

Thank you for your report, and hope to continue to pay attention to the resolution of this issue.
It turns out that this is indeed a problem, and it exists among all users.

“Autopilot link” meaning the ability to drive autopilot commands or something else?

Exactly!

As long as any new P3D5 release is not breaking compatibility with the SDK, the RXP GTN and GNS V2 are both forward compatible gauge wise, but they are also embedding advanced heuristics and awareness in order to self-adjust the necessary platform hacks automatically.

It is like having a little bit of AI integrated in the products which is letting you enjoying our products as seamlessly as possible. The only item which requires a new "manual" update is the autopilot coupling but we're looking at ways to make it automatic too.

Agree it's unfortunate (not sure I consider it "fatal"), but the issue is constrained to very low view angles with mountains in the background.  HTML5 is no longer the default for menus as they reverted back to the Scaleform menus.

V5.2 HF1 is a must have install IMHO, but there are still outstanding issues that need to be resolved with TruSKY clouds and visibility layers.

Some recorded test sessions all default no add-ons mostly focused on clouds, night, moon, sun, and layered weather settings and visibility:

On my 5 year old dev PC in ultrawide res.  One oddity that might be specific to my multi-monitor setup or drivers or I'm not sure, is that when I enabled Triple Buffering (I'm running VRR on a Gsync monitor in this test) my FPS immediately doubled?  I posted my findings to LM but got no response.

Cheers, Rob.

I'm old and wise enough not to expect everything yesterday 🤣 (...not to mention being patient enough to enjoy what I have already while hoping for more.)
