If you took some time to read the job description, you would know those tasks are to work on the core sim.  Not an actual fleet of aircraft.  But I guess details are not important to you 🤭

Okay, it's clear you have zero clue as to what's happening at Laminar.

Goran has a relationship with Laminar, as do I. We are quite familiar with what's happening there, who's doing what, and who has been added to the team.

None of the silly posts you have made have been accurate with regards to outsourcing or being given models. All of this work is being doing in house. Those are the facts.

Or they can just run color calibration software.

🤷‍♂️

Needs to be in sim though I would have thought? Not sure I want to be poking around with my monitors settings which affects all programs. Ie the sim needs to be calibrated to the monitor and not visa versa.

I hope not.  I prefer it to be universal.  When making color correct add ons, I'll need whatever hardware and software I can get to make sure colors are good.

You don't have to do anything.  The software does it for you, and you can save the settings as a profile, with names for whatever you want to use the profile for.

Ah! Any recommendations for calibration software? I'll try it. (I just have everything on default.)

I have the SpyderX Pro.  Although I don't need to use it for my Mac.  MacOS has its own color calibration software.  But I did use it for my Windows PC.

I'll give the software a try. Thanks.

They never made this aircraft. It was either a free donation or paid for by outsourcing it to a modeler.

Do you know the term "eating crow"?

If you don´t, you will find out soon enough 😄.

IMO those previews make no sense.

It's fine to introduce a complete working 320 or a complete helicopter, but simmers are waiting for the lighting / Wx stuff and the arts assets, for now this is all the simmers and I care about.  New addition of fleet can continue once XP12 or whatever new version is out.

I would in general be careful when speaking for everyone. Maybe somewhere, in some hidden corner of the world there is one simmer who would like a default A330 to be included with the next X-Plane version? We can´t completely rule that out, can we?

Just one simmer ? 😆  ah You ! 😉

No it can't be ruled for sure , but tbh a 320 or a 330 just for a few is not the need of the hour for XP.  It can be done during the life cycle of the new XP version.  What we desperately need is the visuals quality right now.

And let me guess...you think that the guy doing the 330 should be working on that instead, correct? 😁

Just out of curiosity, Austin - of course ! - replied he didn't agree with the video 🙂

The man knows what he's talking about 🙂

This being said, the PT-6 also uses stator in the high  and low pressure chambers, and those do indeed account for a significative reduction in angular momentum...

It was good to see how Austin promptly replied saying what was being "explained" in the video wasn't correct !

Hahaha  , I am sure the 330 developer is itching to get his hands on the visuals development. 😃   He don't want to see his 330 looking all washed out 😆

It's great if LR adding a study level aircraft , but what i am saying is as a desktop simmer i want the visuals now.  honestly it needs a big upgrade as you know. priority should be put on the visuals and then the fleets.

What could ya expect Zul ?  The "virus" never left..... 🙂

Please help me setting up a Rayzen on an AMD Mobo... Alexis should be running out of patience explaining me the very basics that I still do not understand ... 🙂

It's my 2nd AMD processor in 30 yrs ... before and in between I always had Intel and Nvidia... Well, it'll still be GPU-powered by Nvidia because I can't pay the fortune they're asking for a GPU these days ...

It's being set for a sim, 1 TB NVme PCI-e M.2 SDD, and yet another 500 GB one which I don't really know how to or IF I should install in the "TORPEDO" mobo...
