Alexis should be running out of patience explaining me the very basics that I still do not understand ... 🙂 It's my 2nd AMD processor in 30 yrs ... before and in between I always had Intel and Nvidia... Well, it'll still be GPU-powered by Nvidia because I can't pay the fortune they're asking for a GPU these days ... It's being set for a sim, 1 TB NVme PCI-e M.2 SDD, and yet another 500 GB one which I don't really know how to or IF I should install in the "TORPEDO" mobo... I don't believe you have purchased a new system 🙃 😁, you will always remain an Uninstaller 😄 Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus

It's entirely possible it was 1 person (I personally don't know) but I can tell you it was 1 person who improved the default 747-400. Jim (coder for my Saab) made all the displays, remodelled a lot of it (Most or all of the cockpit was remodelled), re-textured the exterior and interior, and wrote some of the xLua code. Not many people would be willing to take on an entire aircraft, but it has happened.

Rest assured that it is being worked on. But new aircraft can´t hurt, can they? It is not mutually exclusive. 😉

If it is a partnership with JAR it seems strange not to announce it, if not - hey, maybe they are also bundling X-Aviations best sellers as well. Next in the fleet preview a TBM900? 6 hours ago, Cameron XA said: It was more or less a way to hype up the fact they are paying attention to their bigger market (airliners). Its all round just a very strange video, one they (or anyone) could have made at any point in the last 5 years. Airliners need new displays, not a fuselage. July 6, 20214 yr Well seeing how even small improvements take years for laminar, the artists and coders should learn to adapt, or they might not have jobs later on 😉 But yeah, a new entry level A330 is awesome. Will make me buy 12 instantly. Heh. Laminar Research customer -- Asobo/MS customer -- not an X-Aviation customer - or am I? 😉

If its not JAR (e.g. RWDesigns) then aside from alienating JAR (among the most popular of XP aircraft) the best we should probably expect is yet another entry in the very (very) long list of half finished poorly done flightsim airliners. New lighting is a small improvement. Took how long? Oh, it's not even public. Weeeeell 😄 Laminar Research customer -- Asobo/MS customer -- not an X-Aviation customer - or am I? 😉

July 6, 20214 yr And lets not forget how long the competition needed to come up with a new entry after the last one (FSX)... If I recall correctly it took them about 14 years?

Oh, it's not even public. Weeeeell 😄 I don't understand the logic behind your reasoning. X-Plane 11 was released more than 4 years ago, and that probably was its planned lifespan before the next major version. It's clear to any simmer that major improvements as a new lighting and weather engine are only implemented when releasing a new major version (and this is true for ALL flight sims, not only XP). So, even if LR has been working on those improvements for years (which is actually the case, I reckon!), it's obvious that the current version would remain relatively static, and those improvements would be reserved to the major version. Or do you think that Asobo created MSFS in 6 months? They've been working on it FOR 3 YEARS AT LEAST, before they released it. "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".
