If you contact Orbx (if you bought off their site) and ask for a REFUND,  and explain why you feel this product did not match the descriptions and or promotional content put out for it...they will most likely grant you your refund.

Edit: Be aware that that request is time limited. If you wish to, I'd connect with their site and make the request ASAP.

OrbX now changed the product text so it is more down to Earth and no longer promising tens of thousands of high quality ships and then delivering 19 repeated tens of thousand times 😄

Are shipping ships dependent on using Live Traffic setting?
I tested this program last night and used the AI traffic setting, as there is rarely any flights in the vicinity where I fly at night.
But so far I have only seen Sailboats, Fishing Boats and Yachts, but no shipping ships.

No.

Apparently there are no routes programmed in the Norwegian fjords then ... yet, hopefully.

If that was a question to me, then let's take it in a thread related to the Global AI Ship Traffic project:

No, it was just a thought about this program that is discussed in this thread.

Has anyone come up with a realistic percentage in the settings for both sailboats and cargoships?

Hi Mac44,

You don't disable Global AI Ship Traffic by increasing to 65% - the reason I always recommended keeping 6% was to avoid the repetitions of the default ships. Now if you have all three add-ons you will see more traffic increasing to 65%. Global AI Ship Traffic will remain the same with a diverse regional traffic based on the 1300+ models, but the 19 ships from the two add-ons you purchased will be repeated all over the Globe. In some places I think that will look good now Enhanced AI "beautified" the default models - in some places it will not be realistic as it is rather big ships and the default routes at least will put many of the same ships next to each other.

Regards to the wake issue I suppose Seafront will help you with that.

Thanks for the reply!

Sorry just noticed there was a mistype in my original post it should have read "by setting ships and ferries to 6% (suggested setting for your software) are you not effectively disabling the global shipping"? - really what I am asking is to try and use everything together what what would be your suggested setting as I think the payware requires the ships to be set at >60% to enable it?

Henrik, I reinstalled your MSFS V1, and have many (let me repeat...) many of your fine and diversified ships once more populating the channels around KORS.   I'm not going to seek a refund, but have pretty much just written off my $40.00 CDN for both programs.  For a personal opinion, quite under-whelmed. I bought on the power of the first offering, which was/is still fabulous. This?...   Well,  I won't buy another piece of software on release day. Never again. I got sold on the power of the first product, and the videos.  I realize now beyond a doubt, that videos, and product manifests and descriptions,  are merely a trip-to-Vegas, from the future on.

Once more, thank you for your package, and I wonder, can YOU now create wakes in any sort of update:?  If you could...your MSFS V(2)? would be the end all, for injection of life upon the seas, and finally, I hope you and others can figure out how to populate water bodies within MSFS that are not bound to 'sea level'.  The Great Lakes MISS YOU!

Has 50,000 routes (for the Shipping Stand alone) been edited as well?

Hi - as I haven't installed the Global Shipping I can't tell for that part - for the enhanced AI which is managed by the default traffic, maybe turn it up to 20 - 30% - it really depends on how often you want to see the same ship. Personally this is not what I look for so I would never go on 60%, but increasing somewhat from the 6%  should be okay. If you have ModelConverterX installed you can take a look at the models in Enhanced AI and then you will know if you think you see them too often - there is also repetition of models from the Global AI Ship Traffic, but I went far in controlling that you will never see the same ship twice in the same area.

Also for you - let's continue discussing over at the Glo bal AI Traffic thread as I do not want to turn into customer service for Seafront.

Thank you Henrik, and I responded with a huge Thumb's Up!  If you had wakes behind ships even now, ie  MSFS V1(redo?) , that would be simply wonderful!

thanks for the reply - I gave 62% a try for both and it works well with the different packages complementing each other nicely (so far!) testing so far has been around the channel..........

will move across to the Global AI thread for anything further (presume you mean the avsim one and not msfs forum? : )

Have to say I feel like I’ve wasted my money on both of these products. The limited sales text made it sound like you were getting a lot more than 19 ships - I will be requesting a refund for sure.

my fault for jumping the gun again - I should have waited for reviews.
