CTD with the latest dev build of FBWA320

I have just had a reply from a member of Github. My problem with the unresponsive control knobs has been resolved. To operate them, to enter/leave managed mode it is the side buttons on the mouse. I have not completed a full flight yet but I have hopes.

Can I add my problem too.

My airbus throttle quadrant  indents are slightly misaligned.

I have seen a suggesting editing the ini. File in the work folder.

My ini file is not letting me edit it.

Can you please advise which editor to use .

Many thanks

Can't you just calibrate them within the FlyPad?

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

I had random ctd's with the FBW 320. Sometimes I could load it at 5 different airports, then it crashed again.

Until I did this   https://docs.flybywiresim.com/start/installation/#clean-install-steps

I didnt even know there were other related files then the ones in the community folder.

I9-14900K,  Gigabyte B760 Aorus Elite AX, RTX 4080, 32 ram.1 tb nvme  M.2 SSD, MSFS 2020 on 2 tb nvme m.2 SSD

I did as you suggested however if I have the fbw 320 developer version in my comm folder it will not load the flight. The status bar goes 1/2 way and just stops. I just did a complete fresh reinstall of the fbw version and it just does not load

My FBW A32NX works flawless.
Installed the Dev version.

Make sure to delete all liveries and also under simobjects the fbw folder before installation. Delete all the stuff mentioned on the clean install guide.

Turn on Legacy mode for the Input. And you’re good to go in 95% of the cases.

Im not quite sure if it was named simobjects tbh. It’s not in the community folder but in the other one parallel to community.

I am not on my pc so I can’t look it up atm.

Hi Don. Try to start fbw a32nx  JP from another airport to check if it is an airport problem. I had the same problem in FlyTampa Copenhagen

Not working too well for me. First up mouse is unresponsive over some of the knobs, for example the screen brightness knobs on the left side. Also, the Flypad is mostly unresponsive, can’t click through the menu’s. And of course, I have yet to get Navigraph charts working on Flypad. They say it works but it does not.

At least tonight’s flight seems to have the weather behaving normally, no ISA+85 outside at FL360.

Thanks All for your help it seems those pesky fdr files in the work folder was causing all my problems with the fbw 320. All is working now with no issues using the legacy mode. Im a happy camper once again.

Just tested again. It is a mess. CTDs, flickering gauges, etc. I will wait until they sort it out.
