That's exactly what I think as well. I can't even imagine how he would cope with the workload he is facing, probably thousands of requests in only a week.I bought it anyway, just to support him.

You can activate notifications at Simmarket. I get one every time Bijan's addons (and others) are updated.

Kind regards, Michael

Hey Michael.  Thanks for your response.  Any ideas how to set this up in Simmarket?  I've looked unsuccessfully.  Thanks again!

Update - Looks like it's found under NEWSLETTER - Hopefully this helps others.

Cheers.

This mod would greatly benefit from a auto update feature.
It seems like an impossible large task to handcraft all the objects that this requires 😬 I guess updates will drop frequently.

I was just about to answer. I agree it's pretty well-hidden.

Here's a nice example where Islands, Boats Huts, Trees removes an ugly setting caused by a clash of PG with Bijan Seasons Trees.

Bijan Seasons (Summer North) only.

Bijan Seasons plus Islands, Boats..

Enlarge to see the difference.

This is after takeoff from KSFO close to Highway 101 South. I notified Bijan about the issue and he took care of it in the latest update.

I saw a video somewhere, not sure if it was youtube, but the person had the mod and was flying in Tahiti (Bora Bora) and he was running with ultra preset and LOD set to 5.00 for terrain and object. However when flying over the islands you could see the huts slowly popping in as you flew closer, but it seemed that the distance for them to show up was very small, even with higher LOD settings. The addon looks great asides that one downfall. Is there something that can be done to make the objects appear much further away from your plane's viewing radius?

That would depend on at what build of the sim the video was taken.

Almost every update Asobo does, LOD changes too. At this stage the huts LOD is about 1.5 miles and that doesn't change with increasing LOD in config file.

I can experiment with a new hut model to see if that makes a difference and playing with LOD numbers.

The question that arises, why would Bijans season trees clash with Photogrammetry? I wasn't aware that this could happen.

Wow that's a ton of boats does it effect FPS when flying near them?

When I made Bijan aware of the issue, I got the following reply (via PM, I hope he doesn't mind me copying):

"With photogrammetry trees on, the normal trees sit on top of the Photogrammetry trees which makes them huge as shown in your picture. That's not normal. You can compare that to other areas.

I have reduced trees on purpose with Photogrammetry on so they don't look huge. But you can see Photogrammetry trees in between them. So it's not distorted but both type of trees show."
