To having to spend ages fiddling with settings to get it to look like the promo videos and also be playable.

That's 90% of the fun. Plus I'm not 10 years old (sadly). Consoles are for kiddies. Macs are for ladies. PC's are for men.😀

30 years ago, yeah.

We arent kiddies anymore, and neither are the consoles.

If I was putting a date on when that changed, I would say it was around about

You can be a real man and still be in touch with your feminine side.

PCs were for geeks that grew up to be rich men 🙂

Windows is for those who need to call tech support when somone unplugs it. They are definitely better gaming on consoles.

Yes, but you can't have a Mac.

Macs would be a good option if they had better hardware, especially GPUs, for the money.

Dis they improve the system update process in Windows 11? Updating 10 always takes ages compared to literally any Linux distro.

Don't know what Linux distros you are using, and if maybe you disabled updates for them or something.

I sincerity hope that M.S. is merely rattling the saber scabbard, with W11 can ONLY run with that security chip.   I have a great system that I have no wish to rip out the M.B. to get one with that chip.  So..I will hope that after all the dust settles, that either they will continue to support W10 ONLY, because that will be the only W version that will run on aging or to put it another way,  M.B.'s produced in the last ten years, that work...work well, and the user does not with to have to change, or to buy another system merely to run the next version of Windows.   There has never been a version of Windows that would not run on anybody's current computer, no matter when it was built. W11 is the first that requires a specified chip and BIOS setting.

For myself, I am quite happy to stay with W10, and so will sit in the bush, and wait out what M.S. is really going to do....are they truly going to cut off and force-orphan user's working systems, because they lack the chip, or will someone come out with that chip that can be put into rail slot...  I'm hoping so, for I have three unused 8 lane slots ready to receive one, if that will be a way to get past the lack of one....  Then, I would gladly load in W11.

Yes but I bet driving model is better than any other vehicle?😀 And also I would think that his Tesla is outdated.

The driving model is the worst. Will steer you into oncoming traffic if left unattended.
