Payware Showing up on Flightsim.to

Featured Replies

I apologize if this was addressed somewhere else, but I noticed recently that there are now pay-ware items listed on Flightsim.to. Not sure if it is my settings, but if not is this by design and will it continue?

They stated recently that they were going to do this

Thanks, I must have missed that. Too bad there’s not a way to change the settings to only display freeware.

They also mentioned it'll be a premium membership for those who don't like to wait 20 seconds for the downloads.

I think It's an excellent site and I agree they should be looking for ways to make it sustainable in the long run.

I commented on the fact that you seem to have an "issue" with it

There's nothing in their post that says they have an issue with it.

Well, maybe a bit "sarcastic" but certainly not "pompous".😀

Anyways, you're probably right, and I shouldn't have flown off the handle. Again, I'm all for flightsim.to also including payware as long as it's clearly labeled and legal.

It’s all good, and it is in fact a great site.

Cheers, Pete

We already buried this hatchet, so let's just move on.

We posted at the same time so I didn't see that until after. Sorry.

I must have missed the post about payware on the .To site..but as long as there is no confusion and it is separated i see no problem

As for misunderstandings in posts I see this all the time...the internet is not like any normal conversation when you post. People cannot hear your tones, nor sense intent with any great degree of accuracy..cannot see your face to see if there is humour or anger in your eyes. It is a global access platform and people can even use translators to participate here

.. all things considered, erring on the side of civility is the best response IMHO.

So premium subscription is not available yet?

Their first entry into the payware arena was with the Gee Bee R3.   (That refers to FS.to and GotGravel (Friends of Gravel).

/Gravel said that Mike Patey's "Draco" will be coming soon.

Interesting choice. Gee Bee R3 never existed and "Draco" totaled in crashed
