October 19, 20214 yr I have the latest Bonanza Turbo installed. Post update, the center of gravity is so far back, that any throttle has the tail hitting the ground. Is this because of the Bonanza Turbo (community) in place? Anybody else had this? No other changes, other than just loading in the Bonanza and with the reported back oriented center of gravity (balance). Is the Bonanza Turbo v3 not compatible with the current update? That is what I have installed. Edited October 19, 20214 yr by Sesquashtoo
October 19, 20214 yr Author I deleted the Bonanza Turbo v3, and installed the latest updated G36 Project. I now have another problem. I keep getting the audio call out 'Don't Sink!' Don't Sink! That is with the G36 Project tunings installed. How do I SHUT OFF that audible warning in the cockpit..or is this a bug now? Any help would be appreciated...

That is what I have installed. I flew the Turbo Bonanza today after the update. I did not have my yoke or quadrant connected. Just used my rudder pedals and mouse. Did not experience the issue you described. Did you check your loading? I started with a 50% fuel load. Four persons on board. 220 front left, 190 front right. 130 rear left (rear, not middle), 135 rear right. 80 lbs of baggage. The only issue I found with the Turbo Bonanza was my tail number is missing. Might also check your bindings and calibration for your controls. Seems I saw a post today indicating another user had to reset them all. October 19, 20214 yr Gents- hard to believe I know, but there's more than the RY mod... this may well be the other. Best- Carl Avari-Cooper

My loading has not changed, from SU5 to SU6. Loaded the plane, and even in level flight to the horizon, if I just slightly allow the horizon to drop, even 2 degrees, I get the audible Don't Sink, Don't sink. I have never had that issue in all of the previous updates. My fuel was the default 50 percent with the default two pilot and co-pilot. I do feel something got changed or foobarred with the update. I know that they did something to the G36, because while I had the Turbo V3 installed, right after the update, I tried to taxi the G36, and tail section slammed into the ground...and that was that. I think they moved the center of gravity WAY far back..or , it is a new bug...that came with SU6 for the G36... Edited October 20, 20214 yr by Sesquashtoo

I haven't had time to test since the servers when down yesterday. The Longitude is having problems as well. Looks to be either the WT G3000 at play or the Longitude FDE mod. I knew when they reported they were working on the default aircraft in the release notes issues were going to come up. Thanks Dillon, so which Mod exactly the Nx? or The G36 Project? I have both...and before SU6, no issues from either...

Reports from others are saying the Turbo Mod for the G36 is fine. I have a copilot mod for the G36 that I believe is causing me problems. I'll have to test when I get home to better give you some ideas of what to do. The mod I was referring to is whatever you installed that improved the flight dynamics. Get the bird back to default and see how you make out. It looks like WT's Garmins are not at play here with anything. The Longitude has an issue that Asobo knows about but didn't fix for this patch. They changed something and didn't see it through before release or so thread conversations are going on the official forum. October 20, 20214 yr Flew the Bonanza after the update yesterday: I have Rob's Turbo mod installed, and during a 4-stop am flight around BC from CYVR - I became pretty sure the CG is off - elevator "somewhat" more sensitive - not a lot, but the greater symptom was that the aircraft was almost impossible to trim. The trim required a longer hold-down time on the yoke switch (i.e. more movement of the trim wheel) before the aircraft would respond, but when it did, it was then too much, so it became a matter of progressively shorter "blips', chasing a center point, which, once it felt "right", was followed by the beginning of an out-of-trim situation in the opposite direction. I couldn't prevent this happening. Even adjusting the power up or down a tad wouldn't stabilize it. It wasn't natural behavior for this aircraft prior to the mod - nor is it normal for a real-world aircraft to hunt in pitch in this manner. I'm intent on looking at it this afternoon, so I don't know where the CG is, or is supposed to be at this moment. pj. What happened with me...was after the SU6 updated, I had the G36 with Rob's Turbo v3 already as my selected aircraft. So, I plopped it down on a taxi..and when I went to apply throttle, the entire plane rocked right back onto the tail with the front at almost 45 degrees. That was only after the SU6. So, something is fishy... I'll try to work it out, as this aircraft is my go to... Hope you sort out as well. I deleted Rob's v3 as it was never even certified for SU5, and right now have the G36 (certified for SU6) Bonanza Project in the Comm folder. I think as other's do, that NXi, is causing the aircraft to scream out Don't Sink!, if you are 1 or more degrees below level flight. I hope this gets nailed down, asap.
October 20, 20214 yr Hmmm... Didn't have any "sitting back on it's haunches" syndrome when increasing power, Sesq:.. If the cg were to be behind the main gear - that's what I would expect it to do without power - but applying power would only pull the nose downward, lifting the tail - wherever the main gear was positioned. It did slip beautifully, though - both rudder and ailerons feeling very nice, with the slip looking right, and with a goodly sink rate. Edit:- "Corrected issue that would cause trim keys to start repeating instantly when held down"... Could be an example of fixing one thing - and breaking something else? . . Edit (again!) "Added elevator_trim_up_limit et elevator_trim_down_limit optional variable to CFG" Getting closer... October 20, 20214 yr Only problem I have with Robs mod after SU6 is now I always get a red warning regarding the Propeller Speed during max throttle, never had this prior to SU6. I cannot work out if anything else is borked as Rob refined so much in this mod which is beyond my technical knowhow. I also noticed the analogue ASI is reading something like 90 knts when the G1000 NXi readout is 155 knts, I thought the pitot heat was off but it was confirmed on, this has been confirmed by my brother who uses the same mod.
