October 22, 20214 yr Depends what you mean by cruise! Climb is always full power, 350kts is usual, until 0.76M, then maintain 0.76M to whatever altitude. Then high level cruise would normally be 0.7M. Low level, on the other hand - 92/93% rpm for 420kts. 7 miles a minute, so helps with the route planning!

October 23, 20214 yr Low level, you should be able to take off from Valley, make your way to the Mach loop, on down to the Sennybridge range (spending a little time at each!) and then back up to North Wales for a run through the A5 pass and return to Valley with a bit above diversion fuel. High level is a different matter, of course - the test route for high level fuel consumption was full power climb out from Valley, 350kts / 0.76M to 35k, then 0.7M until descent point 50 miles from Lossiemouth descending at 0.7 / 350 and over Lossie at low level with roughly 1000kg left. Both courtesy of a Hawk instructor!
October 23, 20214 yr I just took a flight from RAF Valley to RAF Marham in Norfolk, cruised at about 4500ft at about 380kts sailing in and out of the clouds. I also used the autopilot function whilst I admired the outside views ( always nice to be hands off in a mil jet for a bit ) Landed smoothly at Marham for medals 🤣 This aircraft does not only look good and sound good, the feel of it when using something like the Warthog HOTAS setup is extremly smooth with all the agility that the Hawk has. A definate for your hangar here fellow simmers, and absolute treat. Thank you Just Flight for raising the bar with this one, it is an simulation delight. Bravo !!!! October 23, 20214 yr Having read all these hymns of praise I am tempted to buy this addon - If I could see any point in using it more than 2 or three times - what is the point of flying it? You can start it, feel amazed by the sound, jet and pivot around a little bit and then - the stimulus is gone - thats the story of every military jet I purchased until now. October 23, 20214 yr It is pointless me giving any detailed opinion on this, as Just Flight have simply smashed it out of the ground on this one. Whichever team at Just Flight is responsible for this, I would like to know, as I will look for any future releases of theirs. This type of plane might not be everyone's cup of tea, but if you think it is, and you need any further convincing, then this is the best preview / review I have seen up to now. October 23, 20214 yr Hi Rob, I dont own any of the other jets like this, but when a gem comes alone, then....well it would be rude not to. I might have a take a few days off New world. Even without buying it yet I have done a walk through..lol. Thanks for your feed back. SOLD! Edited October 23, 20214 yr by Nyxx David Murden. October 23, 20214 yr Not too sure if this is everyone's cup of tea, but is it possible to sit in the back seat and admire the views whilst letting the guy up front fly this thing like a man possessed ?
October 23, 20214 yr I have odd problem my throttle movement from full position to about quarter back absolutely have no effect on thrust, rpm, or fuel flow. Dos anyone notice that?
