November 4, 20214 yr The release managers need to be prepared to push back the dates if need be. Last time with the known TBM bug, it should have been fixed. Just push back the release. http://youtube.com/c/Greazer

Backend schedule to me means they are tight on time to integrate all of the inclusions into the sim from the different teams; possible the GOTY items -the different aircraft etc. My thoughts are that they should delay any update release until fully tested. as I don't want them to disrupt what we have now, which is pretty good! I think they will be under pressure to release though, due to the expected revenue from the Reno pack. There has never been a problem so far with testers finding the bugs - I don't think there would be a problem this time - the problem since the original alpha and beta was getting anything done with the information provide to MS/Asobo. You think Asobo's track record of updates makes releasing this one without external testing (and potentially without 3rd party devs having any time to update) a smart move ?
November 4, 20214 yr Author I will have to wait for the SU7 release before I can decide. We want these flights to be long enough in duration for you to test and provide feedback, and for the team in return to make meaningful updates based on your feedback. Unfortunately we won’t be able to make that happen this time around. We value the time and energy you put in for testing and want to offer the same in return during these flights. This group will be preserved for future flights, such as the Sim Update 8 flight we have planned soon. Thank you again for being willing to help us test, and we look forward to inviting you to the next flight! FS5.1 great FS95 mediocre, FS98 a classic FS2000 mediocre, FS2002 good. But since then they've all been great: FS9, FSX, MSFS 2020 FSX was not great and that's an understatement, it was built for single core machines and never fully utilized duel core or modern hardware... 🤨 P3D suffers from the same problem as it's core code is FSX. The problem is FSX has been out there so long it's poor performance has become expected and praised by some as necessary evil if you want good graphics. You would think after FS2020 (even FLIGHT) that old myth would be put to bed and sloppy code get's called out for what it is. FS9 good, FSX terrible (but time on the market heals all wounds, perspective, and money invested) P3d mediocre, FS2020 classic Concerning SU7 this might not be a good month going all the way to almost Christmas for the sim community that uses FS2020.
