I will start with CYTZ - Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.  It is the surrounding scenery and approach that makes it special. Yours?

PHNL, hard to beat Honolulu for me. In the sim and in real life. The approaches and departures are beautiful

Absolutely! I flew to CYTZ in real life recently and made a video with ATC audio. Here it is landing RWY 08 for you to compare.

I love the Toronto Islands. I spent a day rollerblading virtually every metre of them and even watching a plane land there was fun.

The last one I flew in 😁. Yesterday a portion of a dirt road in Mongolia with the Porter and (default) Skiathos in Greece with the Gina.

Where exactly are the great plains in mongolia ? I can't find them...

Ray-

I often do the St. Maarten, St. Barts, Saba, St. Maarten rotation in the evenings.  Of course SXM is payware (and very nice) but the rest are stock sim and quite lovely.  With the sun setting on the Caribbean and the right aeroplane, it's a lovely way to enjoy a Sundowner 😉

SBGL in Brazil

Oh yeah!   Quite breathtaking when you hit it right at sunrise and the sun is hiding behind a huge mtn in the area, and you're in the shade one moment, then in the glaring sunlight...awesome place to fly with default scenery.

I agree @cavaricooper, true "island hopping" is fantastic in MSFS, even with default scenery.  Saba by default is almost payware quality IMO.

I flew only North of the Gobi desert. Not a very good mesh or even ground imagery. What is funny is that you find white circles scattered in the countryside: yurts !

True, but not exactly a popular aircraft to model. If my memory serves me right, the RV’s in X-Plane and FSX lacked some serious detailing. Many do not realize that these planes are light and fast. My RV cruises at 140kts with a Lycoming O-320 and sips fuel.

The old Baytower RV7/7A for FSX was very good imo.  Agile flight characteristics.  Hehe the page still exists: https://www.baytower.ca/

It was ported to P3D by users - worked really well with RXP GNS.
