In the the german version, there is no "Track IR" option. For whatever reason, they called it (translated) "follow IR"

I assume whoever (or whatever) did the translation didn't realise Track IR is a product name an simply translated "track" as "follow". Both can mean the same in English.

Appreciate this nugget. Ridiculous of course. I’ll check it out later. I did go into the camera menu where TrackIR was toggled off, but I was unable to turn it on there. It would instantly revert back to off.

I had this, make sure your trackIR is active just before you start a flight and the receiver is green.
Also:-

So, what we have - by way of the most efficient Workaround right now is to;

ENSURE - in Controller Assignments that you have “Toggle Head Tracking” assigned to CTRL+H. (You can also assign it to a button)

That way - when your Track IR receiver/ camera loses contact with your Headgear or goes “Off Screen” for a moment and RESETS your TRACK IR Settings in MSFS Camera Settings to OFF - it turns it back on - and you regain Track IR Focus in Game.

Shame about trackir - it worked very well in the Reno beta.

New PC Ryzen 9850X3D - 32gb ddr5 6000Mhz - MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk wifi - Gigabyte wind force gaming OC 5090 - 2TB Sabrent NVMe. Old PC - Ryzen 5900x - 32gb 3600Mhz RAM - Asus Strix X570-F Motherboard - ASUS TUF OC RTX 3090 - 1TB Sabrent NVMe. AOC AGON 32" 144Hz - Honeycomb Yoke - Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog. T Flight Rudder Pedals - Trackir.

The crossed out prices in the marketplace are not made up, are not phony. They are the true regular prices. For instance the crossed out $99.99  for Biplane Class Reno packages is the price that it would cost to buy those same 10 Pitts single seaters individually in the marketplace (where they are indeed for sale at $9.99 each).

The complete Reno package would be hundreds of dollars if you bought everything piecemeal, which you could do in the marketplace if you wanted to do that instead of the much cheaper complete Reno package.

It worked perfectly for me since the release of MSFS2020. I don't know why they have changed (and broke) it 😭

I have a slightly worse performance with this update (DX11), about 5 fps, anyone else that have the same experience?

Yeah performance is down a bit on this update. The clouds are definitely having an impact.

Still can't get this blasted update to trigger even after a manual uninstall and reinstall of Microsoft Store.

My guess is something is messed up in terms of what version the MS servers think I should have installed either of MSFS or the Store App itself.

If the $60 Reno is too expensive, there is the cheaper $20 version. Which has fewer liveries, otherwise is the same. Some of the modeling is different too, not just liveries, e.g. engine cowling removed on some liveries. Both will have the upgraded Reno airport which is not included in the GOTY update by itself.

The $20 pack:

Just over 6 hours later, the update has finished ... onto the Content manager now!!

Use the Xbox app to update instead.

That was the first thing I tried but isn't showing the update either 😞

Strange. I had it whereas the store didn’t show the last two updates for me, but the Xbox app did.
