Thanks Rafal. That looks up to date and as it’s for v5 likely to be a decent performer. With the addition of AIG Ai it should look pretty good. I do have other TropicalSim airports so it’s not a leap in the dark.

I think ORBX are working on a version as well...?

Does anyone have some intelligence on whether the F1 GTN 750 will be upgraded for v 5.3?  Not looking very promising.  Could be a show stopper for me.  I'm just not willing to invest more money on the alternative.  I did get the update for EHAM but that will be my last investment for P3D.

Bruce

When I learned the F1 GTN was not being updated anymore I went with RXP as there was a sale on at the time.  Have to say I'm very happy with the product and support.  Perhaps @RXP might consider a discount now for people who need an operable unit and switch?

Anyone tried Majestic dash in v5.3 ?

Except with an issue on lighting/reflection (external lights), appears to load fine.

No full flights as yet

I've also got a 4-core CPU (6700k). Since v5 I set HT on with an affinity mask of 245 which keeps P3D off the second threads of the first two physical processors but allows hyperthreading on the last two. I have found this to be the best balance between preventing stutters and allowing for ground texture loading to keep up. After initial testing on 5.3 I still find this to be the best practice (setting both AM To 245 in config).

Thanks for the feedback. I always found hyperthreading did not "play well" with P3D on my rig...

It's MK-Studios rather than Orbx. While the timings are no longer correct, they seem to still be working to the announced road map.

I am too. I updated the client, content and scenery to 5.3. But when i went to downgrade back to 5.2, i only found legacy client files on Prepar3ds site, so i was forced to keep the latest files for content and scenery. It all seems to work fine.

Yep, it's working fine for me too.  No longer any stutters, pauses, micro stutters, just smooth flight animation once more over a 98 percent feature sets at full potential world. For whatever reason, on my current system, v5.2.22 seems the end of the line. No problem, I would have enjoyed that if it indeed was the last of the Mohicans.  So, no tears...just glad that both v5.3.O  Content and Scenery plays happily with Client v5.2.22.

Id try again, if I were you.  There must have been something go not quite right for you to get the results you did.  Most everyone else seems to be having a good experience.
