I would like to see ORBx fix some of the issues in existing P3D products, like the missing night textures on the Canary Wharf buildings in TrueEarth GB South, the misaligned runway centreline markings at EGPN Dundee, and apparently a "slew of updates for the UK airfield packages" that were scheduled to be rolled out a year ago!! Oh, and TrueEarth Jersey would be nice

I am trying to keep up and is right now having a 4 hour trip from KORD to KLAS in a FSL A321-SL with 2048 textures (needed for my 11GB VRAM as it CTD with 4096 in KORD) My main concerns seems over (freezes and stutters to the end) . I will look into VFR but doesnt MSFS seems to straight forward in that regard ? Are you using some magic settings in P3D? :-)

Not so wowed, now. I don't fly with these diddly squat aeroplanes. Just PMDG 747. Maybe that's the problem.

All the latest fixes and my first long flight (NZCH to KLAX) and bam, after 6 hours --Device hung error. Dead stop. First one since upgrading to 5.3 vanilla.

Back to the drawing board. GPU was at 3.9/7.1 So don't really know at this stage. Will check if Ray's temporary fix is still there and start again.

Those are also my concerns - i do know that magic meens hardware power and so far i have had to lower settings like LOD and shadows.

Were you changing gfx settings during the flight at all. I've only ever had 1 Device hung error with my 1080Ti and it was due to me switching between EA on and off and changing settings. I had the registry fix installed but am using latest NVidia drivers.

No magic settings, but I don't run study commercial aircraft.  I only fly 3rdP G.A. and Business Jet.  That might have a bearing...

It might as i think i have reach the maximum performance with this PC , so adding new features actually decreases performance. Makes sense.

I am lowering my settings so that i can perform like at 5.0-5.2 :-)

Btw my wife made me a blanco check for 2022 as it is my 50´birthday :-) Now i do not often replace hardware so i am looking very closely to the market. Any inside info is very much appreciated - as you allready know its only P3Dv5 +  , MSFS

Same, here, they are the best. Only place I will get a computer from. Greg and Ken know their stuff.

Yes. I did. That was one thing that I had hoped was gone, as I had been able to surf and do all other things while P3D was active previously.  I have gone back one level with drivers and will see how it goes.

I've built several of my own systems. I'm in a position to have them built for me now.
