If I was MS/Asobo I'd tell all the complainers to go suck eggs.

I think they kind of have done that - That's the problem, and people with your attitude aren't helping.  It seems you are satisfied with any level of service after parting with your money.  I would love you as a customer for sure!   Take the money and run.

When people keep saying patience is a virtue, it is one of the most annoying things, and they obviously don't understand life, or how precious time can be.   Maybe it is because they have such a boring and mundane life that time means nothing to them.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

As it was New Year's Day holiday I'll cut them some slack. But if it's not back up today I will expect to know what the issue is. And that it won't happen again.

EDIT. It's back up and working again.

LOL, speaking out of frustration I guess, that would be the only reason I could justify such senseless comment.

Patience IS a virtue and good things come for those who wait. It is what it is, and beating the dead horse over and over ain't going to make a difference.

Or else what???

Knowing how cloud computing works I will almost guarantee that outages will continue in one form or the other.

Set your expectations accordingly.

Sure.  I am not so much talking about this latest stoppage, but the history of issues like this going back to day one, and the repetition of the issues.

As for customer support, my company has a few hundred customers, not 2 million such as MSFS (heard that quoted for PC and Xbox - someone correct me if I an wrong), but I would attend to them any day of the year if they needed that.
I am realty proud of the customer support we provide, as the customers pay my wages ultimately, and I still get plenty of time off when needed - no problem for me.

Strange how the modern world is still affected by these fixed holidays.  I would rather have the flexible time to take as I please rather than these closures.  My company finds cover when I need to do that - is it so hard?

No. I like public holidays. Anyway it's fixed and I am truly sorry that having no clouds in your PC sim for three days has given you so much grief.😀

While I understand your sentiment Carlos, I have never seen any evidence of that.  They are just often repeated phrases by people who feel they have some kind of virtue others don't have; a form of virtue posturing if you like.

Good things tend to come to those that make them happen.  That has always been my real life experience rather than these old sayings.

Patience is good for one thing.  If you have it, it can reduce stress!

It hasn't for me - I use fixed weather!    I was commenting on the general situation on the level of customer service, and the anguish of others - which I do understand, but thanks for the attempt at humour anyway!

Anguish? I would advise therapy for anyone who suffers anguish because the weather server is down in MSFS. 🤣 PS The sky is looking stunning at EGMD. Have they tweaked something? OMG thank goodness I don't have to use REX anymore.,

That can only be true if you were the actual developer.

Well. If you are so busy that a day or two without REAL WEATHER in game bugs you - then you gotta be Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos.

Hi Elon, nice to meet you 🙂
