Live weather down for beta users

It’s amazing the things that can devolve into personal attacks in a forum where we’re supposedly all here because we share a hobby. 🤷‍♂️

Thomas Derbyshire

So…it’s been fixed?
Haven’t loaded up the sim yet but might do a flight later and looking to see what to expect.

 Intel I7 12700KF / 32 GB Ram-3600mhz / Windows 11 - 64 bit / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060TI / 32" Acer Monitor, Honeycomb alpha/bravo, CH rudder pedals, Tobii 5, Buttkicker, Logitech radio panel.

LiveWeather working for me as well. Fingers crossed it stays up...

I should note on the MSFS forums some users are reporting some performance issues using live weather - but I am not seeing anything myself.

MS/A just announced they have deployed a server side fix to rectify the problem

Well. If you are so busy that a day or two without REAL WEATHER in game bugs you - then you gotta be Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos.

Hi Elon, nice to meet you 🙂

It doesn't, as I replied to another comment above, as live is so inconsistent for me, I am using fixed weather and I am happy with it!
I was commentating on the general situation and the frustration of others, which is justified I think.  It may only be a few days, but it is probably in their 'holiday window' when they may have an opportunity to spend some real time in the sim if they are not working.

Some of us considered this when they wanted to do SU7 with the holiday coming up, I.e., 'please don't break it for the holiday when you cannot attend to fixing it!'.  At least the 'pre-holiday' beta is fine for me and I am using it - I am thankful for that.

Now I can tell you that I am not either of the named suggestions above, and I would not care to be  but, as you seem a little defensive of the developer, or maybe more like 'anti-complainer', so could I suggest you are maybe Sébastien Wloch?

Corrected Wloch's name. His name is spelt incorrectly all over the internet - poor chap!

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

They've done something. The sky is wonderful!

So the argument that many of us are commenting on a produce we don't own or haven't tried recently is false.

Once again you're confused. Never said that in this thread. Stop putting words and thoughts into my replies that don't exist.

Do you have some personal vendetta against REX? No need to reply, I'm just wondering.

Shame it’s still broken.

for me also - loaded LIVE Wx >>> METAR reports OVC skies and I see partly cloudy with sunshine. Real world has snow on ground, MSFS has none.  Temps and altimeter good but that's all !

Yep,

Clouds too low, not correct cloud types, clouds too dark/yellow, not correct cloud coverage.
