My fleet of virtual airliners have been grounded since this outage and will remain so indefinitely. The airline is losing hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue daily because the passengers want to experience real world weather and not get tossed out of their seats repeatedly due to Rex weather transition induced turbulence. This is truly an outrage! My pilots have families to feed, they need those Asobo servers rebooted A.S.A.P. Oh my lol.... How can you have a class when no two sim pilots will agree about anything.... well that was before MSFS anyway. Now we have those who agree to hate ms and those who agree to hate simmers Harry Woodrow

Marketing verbiage borderline dishonest, a crazy race to release buggy supplements without any consideration for the user to keep the sale momentum, a nerfing to expand the market to the S Xbox, a deafening silence when there is a problem except for the embarrassed banner of an under-mod on their forum, a shop selling addons updated after months. This sim gives us a flying experience as we never have had before (my opinion, YMMV), even on lower end computer, but the 2021 trend was not specially comforting and they will release 12 updates in 2022. Thinking of another innovative product that MS badly managed and axed not long ago. The Kinect. Not very encouraging and I hope not prophetic as it was with the Kinect that Asobo forget its relationship with Microsoft. Regarding Microsoft I agree with you now however some years ago I had a lot of respect for the company and its ethic. Harry Woodrow

What is not encouraging for us is that it is not (only) incompetence of such or such person but a policy. We have learned that much in 16 months. There is an unmistakable pattern. They don’t learn from their mistakes because there is no mistake. It is the way it should be. The users beg to differ of course. I do not think that they are going to close shop soon but the question is how long the corporate will accept to fund (development and streaming) a product which raises the ire of users. If my memory serves me well, Asobo came on board through the Hololens. January 3, 20224 yr Respectfully, this is not 3 people in a garage. This is Microsoft (that understands what reliable up time means). Whilst a short outage isn't great, one that lasts days is unacceptable, regardless of the season. These sort of issues will be the things that must be overcome, or this sim will face longevity challenges. Basic accurate flight dynamics and systems depth that achieves a concrete base state, a robust sim interface that doesn't change, reliable accurate weather and continued improvements to the streaming data will be what this sim needs to become the game changer it has been sold as. The visuals are indeed stunning, but the reliant industry needs the basic framework to get locked down correctly, before the constantly marketed additional features. I enjoy this sim too much to hope for any less. Happy 2022- C Best- Carl Avari-Cooper
January 3, 20224 yr It's not the first time they have a server outage that last days. Asobo needs to wake up. Edited January 3, 20224 yr by Jeeeno

Weather is down for a couple of days, and folks make it sound like NASA just crashed a spaceship on its way to Mars.😀
January 3, 20224 yr The outage also started while they were on vacation, and also on a holiday in a lot of places. You people really need to learn patience. Edited January 3, 20224 yr by Tuskin38

It started on a Saturday, which was also New Year’s Day freaking heck. This is a flight sim weather system, not your Google drive or anything actually super important like that. Also isn’t it only effecting the Beta? A majority of people probably aren’t even using it. Edited January 3, 20224 yr by Tuskin38
