Hey it might be me but has anyone tried to pitch up with the autopilot on?  Flying KHIOKSEA with the GTN750. Established at 3000 on course with NO ALT HOLD and when attempting to adjust pitch  it remains locked in place as if I had alt hold on, except I do not. Checked and triple checked.

Anyone else?  Anyone?

You first have to press ALT (to disengage it) then use the VS wheel.  I don't see a way to arm an altitude and capture it.  So once you reach desired altitude just press ALT again.

Yes. Spot on Ryan!  I logged about 80 hours in their FSX 337 and that is what I recall. I expect this to be a bit of recycling, which by the way is not a bad thing!

I love this model for scenic flights and for observation. It is great to have the unencumbered views at slow speed and maneuverability,  followed by the speed to get to the next attraction, and the next,,,,,  Right up the alley into the pocket for MSFS!

The autopilots I'm familiar with default to pitch hold if no other vertical mode is on when a lateral mode (e.g., Nav or Heading) is on. If that's the case, then use the pitch wheel as Bert suggested above. In my experience you usually can't have an AP lateral mode on without a vertical mode, and vice versa. The default modes are typically Roll (or Level) and Pitch hold.

Thanks Bert and ark

I just found the second (autopilot reference) trim wheel (thanks Bert)

I got the GTN installed and had a nice flight.

Odd that the product info on the Marketplace mentions the GTN from PMS50 but makes no mention of the PMS50 GNS.  I assume the PMS530 mod can be used, correct?

I'm using it fine.  But I'll probably use the PMS version so I can swap in the TDS GTN Xi after I make a relay (and a repaint lol)

Have you found realistic speed performance (referencing your earlier post)?

I'm actually trying to troubleshoot a quick repaint issue for it (sad that I've not flown the thing much yet hehe).  But I will try to fly it more.

Love your repaints Ryan, if there is a livery that screams 70s like Orange and Brown can’t wait!  So glad I was born in 1975! 🙂

Oh yeah I'm working on a few.  Blue just goes so well with grey - we had to swap out that red (which I also like)

Pretty much like the fsx/p3d version, nice model. Gauge backlight knob is really tricky to use in VR as it sits right under the click spot for wheel on/off.

What headset are you using in VR?  I'm just curious and how do you like VR in MSFS as general?

What is the cruise speed.?

I’ve noticed about 150-160 knots seems what I’ve been getting….But honestly no idea how close to the real thing that is.

Odd thing when I first started it up, all the control levers ( T,P,M) were mapped opposite to what it should be, so on all 3 axis #1 on my throttle quad would control #2 and #2 would control #1, had to make a profile specific to the 337 to fix it, not really sure how that got through before release lol.
